I don't usually subscribe to any Pokemon game theory but I will admit, that was interesting to watch and I found myself entertained. Yeah, I don't know if I completely believe this, but since I love the multi-world theory in real life, seeing it applied to Pokémon is pretty cool.

So either Zinnia is a complete lunatic nutcase or the people of the other Hoenn who don't have access to 'infinite' energy are inexplicably smarter and more technologically advanced than the people in this Hoenn who have access to 'infinite' energy. Personally, i'm gonna go with Zinnia being a lunatic nutcase. The Delta Episode is so awful... You just HAD to bring your bias into this... He has the right to say his opinions and thoughts about it since he has played the game unlike you. If he doesn't agree or like it then let it be.

But that just pretty much brings down the logic of the argument he was demonstrating, which was good, by the way.

Okay, guys, let's tone it down. One, it's only a theory (A Game Theory XD), and two, everyone does have a right to an opinion. However, we don't always have to voice that opinion, whether it's an opinion about the games or an opinion about an opinion about the games. At this point, I'm not on anybody's side, but I will ask that everyone takes the time to think before they post. Now, if anyone still has any problems, they can talk to me, or Speedy_Fox_IV, or even to Pharah since she is the forum's conflict manager. Otherwise, let's get back on topic (a topic I will go ahead and make). We all have our opinions about what they did right or wrong in these games, but what's one thing they did right in these games?Besides Mega Gallade, I'd say it was the Soar in the Sky ability. I really love that I can Fly anywhere without having to keep a Pokemon with Fly on my team. It makes it so much easier to transverse the Hoenn Region without having to Surf or run everywhere.

Whoops. This thread dropped off of my watchlist and I missed the conflict. But just like Pichu said, if you guys are still having problems in this thread then you can PM either me, Pichu, or S.Muffin about it.
I found Soaring to be tons of fun. Well that and the new secret bases.

The theory is wrong for one simple reason. Zinnia states that in the other Hoenn, Ultimate weapon was never built. Hence, Infinite energy was never discovered and used in the other Hoenn. Prof Cozmo, while explaining infinite energy, states that the warp panels like the one in the Aqua/Magma base are based on infinite energy. However, warp panels still exist in the other Hoenn despite there being no infinite energy. Prof Cozmo also says that the Rockets in the Space Centre are powered by Infinite energy. However, the other Hoenn had the same rockets but they're canonically powered by normal rocket fuel, as Team Magma attempts to steal said rocket fuel in Emerald. The video also states that even slight differences creates other possible outcomes. So it is possible they have the energy but opt to use it for only certain things and are unaware of the mega stones so they might exist in the other universe but people just haven't found them or cared for them. And in ORAS and x and y they did find them or cared for them. I might be missing something tho, Still haven't played the games, I only play competitive on the simulators. [trombone sound here]

See, this is why I don't usually take any of MatPat's stuff seriously. It's mere stretches and although some can be credible, it's all speculative. The fans themselves tend to believe it's the absolute truth when it isn't - hence "theory."
Anyway, after watching people play the Delta Episode and reading her lines, I find her to be the most unlikable character and I don't see why she's so popular with the fandom. I also don't see why many people like her battle theme; it feels rather generic, even for Shimomura's standards.

I never aceptted the actual theories as true but I always enjoyed the science stuff even in the few times he got it wrong *cough*tenfootwario*cough* As for Zinnia, I could understand why she did what she did but to me it doesn't excuse her for being a bitch about it. I found the theme to be alright but it kinda works better with the build up to it. I think most people enjoy it because they're on an excitement high from Mega Rayquazza when it first plays.

Personal thoughts on soaring? It was good, but it could have been so much better. Reasons: 1.) Soaring cannot be used in conjunction with the AreaNav: I use the AreaNav any time I'm flying because it's already there on the screen and I don't have to navigate through the menus. But if you don't have a flying Pokémon in your party, no dice. 2.) It takes longer to get around: Remember in Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs how you could fly on Staraptor/Lati@s? In many ways this is an improvement on that mechanic, but the one thing they took out is what frustrates me the most--jumping to where you want to go instead of flying there manually. When you're at the Elite Four and you need to get to Rustboro, not only do you have to sit through a double-length cutscene of Lati@s showing up and Mega Evolving, but even if you spam the B button (Which ideally wouldn't be necessary in the first place) it takes a while to get there. It would be so nice if they had, say, a menu with little icons for where you want to get to. Or access to some type of menu at all while soaring. 3.) This one is more an aesthetic grumble. Even if you don't have a Lati holding a mega stone, it still mega evolves when it shows up. Heck, I'm pretty sure it shows up even if you don't own one of the Eon Duo at all! Would someone please explain to me where this second Latias came from? Because wherever it was, I intend to get over there and Ultra Ball the thing ASAP. So those are my views. Overall? I honestly prefer the normal flying mechanic, and really my only uses for soaring at this point are when I'm either looking for mirage spots or don't have a flier with me. I was just expecting a little more, is all...

I don't see why she's so popular with the fandom. She's a good looking woman with big breasts. What's confusing about her being massively popular?
