Well, looks like im getting both games and stealing my friends 3ds to trade all the legendaries into one game.

So getting a 3DS now, for Y, My friend whose selling me copies of Diamond and Soul Silver, and dis. Though I might wait on Kalos while until the inevitable Z or X and Y 2 come out. That and I have a copy of Black 2 lying around.
In the meantime, enjoy this beautiful rendition of the hoenn gym theme
