Speaking of which, I hate it whenever a Pokemon with a clearly specified gender from its name/appearance can be either gender. For example: Mr. Mime is creepy, but it's just plain weird to see a female one.

I feel the same way about Pokémon that look a specific gender, but can be another gender, such as Gardevoir, Lopunny, Gothitelle, and Delphox. |

Although Gardevoir is a bit different. Originally, its design is meant to be masculin, resembling a Japanese dancing warrior. But of course, people took one look at it, saw that it was wearing a "dress" and decided it was automatically a girl. |
