Boss fights happen to be a big part of any video game. Sometimes they're easier than then enimes you had to face to get to them and other times they make you want to thow your game out of a second story window. But this thread isn't about those types of boss battles. This this happens to be about the boss fights that were just a blast to play through. The type that make you want to keep an extra save file just so that you can relive them all over again.
Boss battles can occur against a multitude of different characters for many different reasons. Sometimes they're just some random creature came out of nowhere to block your way and other times they get built up over the entire period of the game. From ex-soldier rabbits from the moon to socipathic AIs, boss battles come in all different flavours and we love them for it.
What is it that makes the boss fight stick out to you? Is it the back ground music that helps get you into the mood? Is this just a villian that you really want to take down? Is this a fight that really shows that really shows you waht you can do in this game? Or is it a combination of all of the above points?
Discuss your favourties below and post video if can. And please mark all spoilers.

I'll start us off with one of my all time favourite boss battles. Masked Dedede from Kirby Super Star Ultra. Sorry but there's no video for this one. I couldn't find a good enough recording on youtube. King Dedede wants another go at Kirby and this time he isn't going hold back. So you've fought your way through a more challenging verion of the Spring Breeze levels and bosses and made your way through King Dedede's castle. As you reach the end you enter a dark room. King Dedede commends you on making it this far and turns on the lights. You find yourself in an arena surrounded by an electrified cage. In the center of the battle field you see a lone hammer. As pick it up King Dedede speaks once more. "Our grudge will be setled at last..." The self proclaimed then enters the battle field sporting an iron mask and a powerful new hammer. Then the epic battle theme kicks in. "The King's Revenge ~ Masked Dedede Battle" The ensuing battle is one that is fitting for two great rivals. King Dedede really means business this time and it really shows. He jump to the top of the cage to electrify his hammer to send shocks at you. Open up his new weapon to show that he has fitted it with a crap ton of rockets and freakin' flame thrower and he also sports a new spin attack that would make Link jealous. At the end of the battle you don't just knock him out of the arena, you knock him out of the freakin' castle! It's a moderatly difficult fight that's fitting for a clash between two fierce rivals that leaves you feeling quite satisfied upon completing it. The credits that follow afterwards though...

When I think about it, most of the games I play don't really have your typical boss battles.
I will say that I enjoy Dracula and his various forms in the Castlevania games. Each time you face him you think "Hmm, what form will he take next?"
