Okay, so as we all know, one of the most sought-after items in the Pokémon games is the Master Ball, a Pokéball which allows you to catch any Pokémon instantly. This instant capture capability makes it a must-have item.
However, there's just one problem. You only get one! So, unless you're a hacker (Shame on you), you have to make a tough choice of what to catch with it.
So, if you only had one Master Ball (no hacking), what would you use it on? The main legendary of the game? One of those challenging roaming legendaries? A Shiny Pokémon that you must have, but don't have any other Pokéballs to catch it with? Or that cute, little Pidgey that you found? Also, what have you caught in past games with your Master Balls?
(Note: Let's try to avoid the "balls" jokes, everybody.)

I try to save my Master Ball for roaming legendaries, but sometimes I have to use it for the main legendary because it keeps dying(Fuck you, Ho-Oh).
In HeartGold, I used it on Ho-Oh and possibly Suicune in my older data. In Diamond, I used it on Dialga, and in Platinum I used it on Giratina and Mesprit. I'm pretty sure I used it on Zekrom in White, and Kyurem in White 2 out of sheer laziness. I think I used it on Mewtwo on one of my old HeartGold datas as well.

Well, I would probably use it on roaming legendaries also. I remember how much trouble it always was on Sapphire just to catch that freaking Latias.
Anyway, I used my Master Ball to catch my Latias in Sapphire, my Entei in FireRed, my Latios in Emerald, and my Thundurus in White.

Dialga and Palkia have one the highest catch rates among all Legendaries, it's not that surprising. That's true. But so do REshiram and Zekrom, I was able to catch those with a first pokeball, in fact, my brother caught his Ho-Oh with the first pokeball he threw. |

I'd prefer using it on the main Legendary of the game. That way, it'll make the capture extra-special!  |

I definitely save it for the roaming legendaries or for a legendary that I want a specific IV/nature. Once I get my catching team going I could care less about the other stationary legendaries. It's just get them down to 1 HP, put them to sleep, and then watch in frustration as ball after ball breaks open.

The first time I used a Masterball was on a fearow... because the guy who gave it to me in Yellow told me too xD

Catch of 3 AND only having a move that hurts the user? Hell no, it's Masterball time.
First time I used one was on a Skarmory in Silver. I thought Skarmory was some super rare pokemon.
