SMTxFE looks anime as fuck. However I'm not gonna judge it until I get more info about it. There's always the possibility that it's like the MOTHER games where it looks cute on the outside but is dark and hard hitting on the inside. Tbh, it looks like everything of anime thrown into a video game, where they took the bad parts of each game and crunched them together, hoping it would make something good. Ehhhhhh... I can't lie, it doesn't look good... but I won't knock it until I try it. That being said, I don't have a Wii U, so... pass for now.

Strangely enough they only mentioned that in the Japanese direct. There's a possiblity that the English version will be the combined game. Hopefully... There will be a combined game called 'Fire Emblem: Special Edition' which will also include the third storyline (DLC) once it's released. It'll also include a limited edition artbook and Fire Emblem 0 TCG card. Not sure whether it'll be released to America or not, but there is hope... but approximately $92.50? Holy shiz... that's a real price to pay when you know next to nothing about the game... hopefully it'll be worth the money (as in better than Awakening *cough*). One could go the route of buying one and getting the other version digitally for around $20, though, making the price about $70 for both when considering tax. If we're only allowed one version, I'd most likely take the Black Kingdom version since it's supposed to be harder, though both look very interesting, to say the least. I'm hyped. Whether the price is justified or not... will depend on how good the game versions and the DLC are. Side Note: Anyone else think that old guy in the Black Kingdom looked liked an old Valhart? XD No. What I meant is that the English speaking directs kept things vauge which may mean that the version that the rest of the world will get just might be the third version. Albeit one that will have a normal release and one that will have all of the bonus collection stuff.

If so, would make sense, I suppose... it'd be the one I'd get if I had the chance lol.

I just finished playing that new e-shop title Box Boy. It's pretty good. You guys should give it a try sometime. I was not expecting a minimalist puzzle solving game to have a post appoclyptic setting. That one came straight out of left field.
Edit: Upon further inspection it would appear that the twist was foreshadowed in the FIRST FRICKIN' LEVEL! The ending to the game was quite bittersweet as well.

Nintendo's E3 pretty much confirms the Wii U is dead.

I'm so fucking disappointed by Fire Emblem Fates. They've shoehorned marriage and kids again as well as pretty much making clones of the most popular Awakening characters to appeal to the Awakening fans. My Castle is more nonsense that is moving the series even further away from the S in SRPGs. We already know that one feature that has been a staple of the series for 5 games straight (weapon forging) is now locked behind My Castle bullshit because you need to farm materials through this feature to forge weapons.
The saddest part is that the very first trailer was pretty good but every single piece of new information has slowly turned me off the game.

Seeing that I follow the Fire Emblem thread over on TvTropes I've taken note of your dislike. I'm personally indifferent until I play the game (or games in this case. I will not even try to defend that decision) however, I was under the impression (and this may just be an error from the guy who translated the scan) that not all pairings produce children. I know this will not change your opinion on it at all but I would find it interesting if that fact were the case with the children mechanic this time around.
