When you create customized sets, you'll be able to see them when you highlight over a character.

Samus can charge up her beam, but it comes out like a shotgun, meaning close range only. She also has bigger bomb, with a longer fuse, but bigger impact. She also has a turbo missile shot. It takes one second, but it just zooms by fast.

I should have posted this, but I was busy. However, I did catch what happened. So, in the all-star run, you can play with a partner. You keep all the damage you've attained throughout and if you or your partner lose a life, it's game over.
Also, you can change the intensity in the "story mode" and choose alternate paths.

Who ever is running the Facebook page for Nintendo Australia is obviously having the time of their life with some of the stuff they've posted.

Who ever is running the Facebook page for Nintendo Australia is obviously having the time of their life with some of the stuff they've posted. What makes you say that? So many goddamned puns and in-jokes that only Nintendo fans would get. There was one that was just non-stop pokemon puns and all the comments on it were people stating that this person had been waiting their entire life for that moment.

So for the first time ever earlier today we had a Nintendo Direct Australia. Here's the video. And in case it's region blocked because of bull shittery I've posted a recap in the spoiler below. The New 3DS and New 3DS XL will see an Australian and New Zealand release on the 21st of November 2014. America won't get the new handheld this year.
The price of the New 3DS and the New 3DS XL is AU$219.95 and AU$249.95 respectively.
The New 3DS has a customisable cover.
The New 3DS XYAB buttons keep the same colour scheme as throw back to the old PAL SNES controllers.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is compatible with the New 3DS's c-stick and is coming out next year here in Aus.
If a game was compatible with the Circle pad pro before than it is fully function-able on the New 3DS.
The 3D function can now be viewed from angles. The central camera will track the movement of the player's head and adjust how the 3D works accordingly.
The Xenoblade port to the New 3DS will see and Australian and New Zealand release in 2015.
Normal 3DSs will get an accessory to allow amiibo comparability. New 3DSs do not need this accessory.
The New 3DS will have a bigger screen than the 3DS. The New 3DS XL will have the same screen size as the 3DS XL.
The New 3DS will change the brightness of the screen depending on how bright the room you are playing in is.
You can transfer save data from the 3DS to the New 3DS.
The New 3DS will come in white while the New 3DS XL will come in Metallic Black and Metallic Blue.
There will be 20 different customisable cover plates for the New 3DS at launch.
There will be customisable themes for the home menu for the New 3DS and normal 3DS coming out in October.
The New 3DS does not come with a power adapter but it can use any adapter from the DSi and 3DS families.
New 3DS power adapters will be sold separately for AU$14.95.
A battery powered charger cradle can be purchased for AU$14.95.
The New 3DS XL does not have a customisable cover.
Fantasy Life will launch onto the 3DS on the 27th of September.
Super Smash Bros. 3DS will be released on the 4th of October. I guess they remembered about the different timezones this time around.
Ultimate NES Remix will be released for the 3DS on the 8th of November.
Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire will come out on the 21st of November along with the New 3DS. Smart marketing decision that one.
Sonic Boom Shattered Crystal will be released for the 3DS on the 29th of November.
Other 3DS games that will be coming out in 2014 but don't have a release date yet are the Ace Attorney Trilogy, Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, Skylanders Trap Team, Shin Megami Tensei IV, Shovel Knight, and Disney Magical World.
The New 3DS and New 3DS XL will have their first appearance at the EB Games Expo 2014 in Sydney which will run from October 3rd - 5th and will be playable at PAX Australia 2014 in Melbourne which will run from October 31st - November 2nd. tl;dr It's a good time to be an Australian Nintendo fan.

And as a final note: Club Nintendo Australia just put up the soundtrack for Kirby: Triple Deluxe on the star catalog a few hours before the direct. I ordered that shit in a heart beat once I found out.
