They're talking about the classic mode based off the original Zelda. If you're not familiar with classic Zelda, you can use the compass in one square to find the secret. If you get it, you can get prizes within the game. In order to get an A Rank Victory, you'll need to finish it quickly, defeat a certain amount of enemies, etc.

Tag Climax is co-op, but competitive. You can get rewards depending on the level of difficulty you put in. You can play as two different characters or same character with different costumes. You can also select any weapon set.
