So, today I finished the Batman: Arkham City storyline, and before I finish the game, get DLC's, etc. I wanted to know, should I get Batman: Arkham Asylum? I've looked, and reviews comparing the two games have good arguments, but in the end, they just seem close to even. I do want to take a look at Asylum, as I have seen a few gameplay videos of it, but what do you think? P.S Sorry for an informal title, not enough space.

I haven't played either but I make it a point to expereince the whole story of a franchise if I start at a later point. You don't have to buy it unless you really like Arkham City. If you just want to expereince the story, a good Let's Play can do. There may be many reasons why you wouldn't want to buy Asylum. It could be budget or whatever. That's not the concern here. If budget is not a problem though, go ahead and buy it. I hear it's really good.
Also, there's nothing wrong with your thread title.

Asylum is a great game that gives fans a huge service, since Batman games aren't all that great, and it has a great atmosphere, setting, and gameplay. The only thing about it are the boss fights... rather the same thing, except with the Scarecrow - which is still the same thing.
Arkham City does things differently, while still feeling it's part of the Arkham games. The story is rather overboard, but it's still fun. It's an ocean to Asylum's pond in regards to the scope of the game. The only thing I don't like are the DLC, such as Harley Quinn's Revenge and the Catwoman DLC. Her segments are rather meh.
