My favorite type is Dark. I just like the overall look and toughness of its Pokemon. The fact that there is no Gym leader for it is reassuring of that, as well.

Strategic-wise, my favorite offensive type is Dragon, and my favorite defensive type is Steel.

. In all seriousness my type would also have to be dark. They have some of the best moves plus the pokemon really stand out than the rest. Though with moves like Metal Claw and Metal Sound, steel types come at a close second.

Having a Fire/Fighting evolution doesn't help.

Well sometimes but I love the gen 1-4 and 6 fire types cause they are cute and awesome looking!

But having a fire/fighting type aint so bad the fighting type helps against ground and rock pokemon and sometmes it helps defeating some watertypes

Oshawott is the only cute one xD from gen 5 i was acutally considering getting a water type when black and white came out i usually choose fire types starteres.....i didnt bought it anyways but if i did i would have gotten a water type
