Okay, so lately, I've been getting back into this anime, and thought that I'd make a thread for it. So, let's start with this topic:
If you could use any sort of magic from the Fairy Tail series, which would you want?
I know that this is gonna sound generic, but I'd love to be a Dragon Slayer, preferably Fire, Air, Lightning, or White. They're just so cool and totally fit me. However, I'd also be fine with Ice Maker magic because it's cool, too. No pun intended.

The problem with the Celestial Gates is in the fact that their power pretty much only comes from the golden keys. Of which only only are there only 12 of, and all but two belong to Lucy...
For me a couple are kinda cliche as well but it would be Lighting or Shadow Dragonslayer Magic, or Memory Make. Something a bit more common though would probably be Letter Magic (namely Dark Écriture), Archive, or Water Magic.
I also figured I could see where the anime was up to. The manga lately has been going in spurts. Though I haven't heard anything about it lately.

They're apparently ending it on March 30th with episode 175. Fairy Tail Best starts on April 4th, but I all I know is that the manga writer says that it's not over.

I will admit that it's pretty good so far. Although, I'm trying to figure out what happened to Gajeel. He's a Dragon Slayer, so he shouldn't have been turned into a Lacrima like the others right? Dang, I'm confused!

If you're only in Edolas I'm surprised that you know about the White Dragon Slayer though. The user of that doesn't show up until the World Tournament Arc.
