Alright, guys! It's time for today's PokeNews!
As you know, Meloetta is out in distribution at Gamestops across America as of Monday. The event lasts until the 24th, so go get your Meloetta! As for other countries, Canada's event starts on the 9th and also ends on the 24th, Australia's event started Monday and runs through April 19th at EB Games stores, and Europe's event starts March 22nd and runs through the 19th of April. This Meloetta is level 50, is holding a PP Max, and knows Round, Teeter Dance, Psychic, and Close Combat. As well, if you teach it Relic Song, it will go into its Pirouette Form. So, if you want to get the last Unova Pokemon, get it soon!
Next, as you all know from yesterday, we now have a preview for the new movie with Mewtwo in it! Here's the trailer in case you haven't seen it yet!
Apparently, this is going to be really epic because at the end of the trailer, the text says that "we don't know the REAL Mewtwo yet." Could Mewtwo have some unknown power that we haven't seen yet? I guess we'll have to wait and see! From Serebii, we know that this takes place in New Tork City and Ash is there to study the Pokemon Hills area of the city. As well, Mewtwo has an existential crisis thinking "These Pokemon were not meant to exist in this world... just like me." Wow. Pretty intense stuff. Also, unfortunately, nobody is catching a Sableye and it's just a mysterious Pokemon that lives in the Pokemon Hills where it befriends Ash and co. So, I don't know about you guys, but I'm pretty excited about this movie! I mean, it's Mewtwo, the Pokemon that made the first movie so epic! I cannot wait to see this one! If I get more details, I'll let you guys know!
Okay, so now we get to the big news: the return of Charizard! Yes, Ash's Charizard is back! As expected, he didn't get him back until close to the end of the episode, but we still got to see some flashbacks and appearances of Professor Oak, Brock, Misty, Tracey, Damian, Koga, Liza, and the most important of all, the Magikarp Salesman! XD Okay, so he's not important, but we did get to see flashbacks of Pidgeotto, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander, Charmeleon, and Primeape. First time we've seen Pidgeotto and Primeape in a loooong time.
We got to also see some flashbacks of the most epic moments of Charizard in the series, and apparently, Charizard was with Professor Oak when Ash asked for it. What happened to make Charizard leave the Charicific Valley? We'll probably never know.
Also, we saw Charizard face off against Iris's Dragonite! Now, N stopped it, so it ended in a tie, but due to Charizard hurting its arm, as well as showing off its Wing Attack, Dragon Tail, and Slash, we can pretty much tell that if N hadn't stopped the battle, Charizard would have whooped Dragonite's butt. Sorry, Dragonite lovers, but Charizard is better and now we all know it.
So, that's the news! Catch ya guys next week!
