I was quite surprised nobody had made this thread already. Pokemon has a TON of awesome music for the games and anime. What are your top 10?
1. Together We Make a Promise(M9)
2. A Thing to be Protected(M9)
3. As Long As I Hold My Breath(M9)
4. I Don't Want to Say Goodbye(PMD: T/D/S)
5. Melancholy(PMD: T/D/S)
6. Unbeatable(S8 Opening Theme)
7. Follow Your Star Ideals Mix (M14)
8. N's Theme(B2/W2)
9. Goodbye Lucario(M8)
10. Life Sacrifice(M8)
That list was harder to make than I thought. Pokemon music is some of my favorite ever, so I should've expected thatXD.

I like the music from both the games and the anime though. My two favourites would have to be "PWT Last round" and "Gym leader's last Pokemon".

I like the music from the games more than the anime. I can't count how many times I've heard the soundtracks from the Pokémon games. Well, my favourites in each generation:
Gen I: VS Champion, VS Gym Leader and Rival Appears.
Gen II: VS Champion and VS Kanto Gym Leader.
Gen III: VS Groudon/Kyogre (RSE), VS. Kanto Gym Leader (FRLG), VS Champion (RSE and FRLG)
Gen IV: VS Rival (DPPt and HGSS), VS Champion (DPPt and HGSS), VS. Kanto/Johto Gym Leader (HGSS)
Gen V: VS. World Champion (BW), VS. N, VS. Rival (BW2), PWT's Last Round, Gym Leader's Last Pokémon and VS. Kyurem

I almost forgot. I also really like the instrumental version of OK!
Edit: It's a bit of a shame that they made the theme so epic though. Th other victory themes in other season where cool but they just couldn't really meet the same quality seeing as they alread ywent all out with this one. A tough act to follow indeed.

Actually i didn't play games that much so i liked anime music more than games.As i don't have comparison to decide one

Ooh, I didn't know about this thread until now.
The only kind of music I listen to is Pokémon music and I have to say that every single one of them is fantastic~
Although I voted for games, I also love the anime music too.
Some of my favorites are:
Games
Kanto: Gym Leader Battle
Johto: National Park, Ecruteak City
Hoenn: EVERYTHING xD Ending Theme (All time favorite), Lilycove City, Regi Trio Battle, Deoxys Battle (If you count it as "Hoenn')
Sinnoh: Route 228, Route 209, Canalave City
Unova, Kalos: Didn't play the games yet...
Anime
TV: Pokémon Theme, Viridian City, Unbeatable (S8), Battle Frontier (Japanese OP), Pokémon AG (Korean OP)
Movies: Movie Title Themes, Advance Adventure ~To Forina (My alarm music xD, M06), May's Dream (M09), Waltz of the Temple (M09), Various Thoughts (M09, Luvdisc Scene!!), As Long As I can Hold My Breath (M09, Heart Swap Scene!!)
It looks like I'm too biased on Hoenn and the AG movies (M09, Can't help it)...
I think that's about it, although I have lots more xD
