Hey, guys, I know that I usually do this on Thursdays, but we just got some BIG news last night that I just saw now! Okay, so we got a new title on the new Pokemon movie: Extremespeed Genesect and the Reawakening of Mewtwo! This means that Mewtwo might possibly be in the new movie to fight against the Shiny Genesect! How cool is that? Also, we have news about a new Eeveeloution known as Ninfia!  We don't know the type or evolution method of it yet, but from the looks of things, my personal guess is that it might possibly be a Dragon-type. That being said, this means that in this new 6th Generation, we might be seeing even more new evolutions and pre-evolutions of older Pokemon! So, that's the PokeNews for now, I'll update it more on Thursday, but until then, answer these questions: What type do you think Ninfia will be and how do you think it will evolve?
What do you think will happen in the new movie with Genesect and Mewtwo?

Ninfia will be a ground type. You may have to eveolve it in a sandstorm or something along those lines.
I want a pre-evolved from of Tropius.
The group of Genesect will probably fight Mewtwo and they will beat him down until Ash and Co makes the save.

Ninfia might be that new flying type eeveelution they were talking about.
I want an evolution of Bastiodon.
Ash and Co. try to stop team plasma and their Genesect army and recieve help from Mewtwo who went to Unova to find a new home.

Mewtwo, beaten down? Uh, no. If you've ever seen the First Movie and Mewtwo Returns, you'll know that Mewtwo cannot be beaten down so easily.

Well he kind of haves to get beaten down or that makes Genesect weak as hell.

Well, Mewtwo is exceptionally powerful, but let's wait until the movie comes out, shall we?
Anyway, news update. Ninfia is now known as Sylveon and there was a new episode that focused on Dragonite and an Ampharos. Oh, and new battle footage for Sylveon:
Still no type as of yet, but we should get more info about it next month. I'm still betting Dragon.

Genesect has the type advantage but it still can't beat mewtwo xD mewtwo is beast ;p

Well, technically Mewtwo's got way better stats than Genesect, so it could probably handle it that way.

I think Sylveon will be flying or dragon, but I'm leaning towards flying. It reminds me of Skyla, too. I found this picture on Pokememes that has an interesting theory supporting that. i.chzbgr.com/maxW500/7063681792/h56F6F4A5/As for the movie, I think Team Plasma might want to kidnap Mewtwo. |

Well, at first it looked pretty much like it was gonna be either normal or to a lesser extent, a flying type to me. And now that they've revealed it's English name, Sylveon (which most probably is derived from Sylph), and also after checking out the link that Foxwolf22 posted, i think it looks a lot more like it's gonna be a flying type. And i'm not complaining, but it isn't exactly what i expected a flying type eeveelution to look like. Check out this fan made version of all the remaining types, if you haven't seen them already. Sylveon looks great too, just not sure if that's how a flying type should look. Anyway, I thinks Sylveon looks really cute.  |

I would usually agree with you all, but the attacks in the video just didn't scream Flying-type to me. Dragon-type is the most likely type in my opinion, only because it would be logical as it's the only Special type left.

You've got a point. It'll be interesting to see how things turn out.
Also, a lot of people have been speculating about new types and all being the reason that they're keeping its type a secret.
