Ash has never actually traveled with any blondes before, with the exception being Barry and Bianca for a few episodes.

What I meant was, that I never really saw that many blondes on the show, and now he gets to travel with three. It seems like a very promising season.

I'm going to predict right now that Ash is at least going to catch a Froakie. Froakie's just had so much more exposure in the previews than the others.

Nah, not with Serena entering the fray and Fletchling evolving into a Fire/Flying-type. Because Serena's a player character, it's likely for her to get her own Kalos starter Pokémon (most likely Fennekin) and Ash would end up catching Chespin, Froakie, and Fletchling as his standard Grass, Fire, Water, and Flying Pokémon, leaving him with space for two other Pokémon on his traveling team. Although, with Clemont joining Ash, there's always the possibility that he'll get Chespin. Froakie's just had so much more exposure in the anime trailers compared to the other two, so he has to be something that Ash catches. I guess he could always be Serena's partner, but because Froakie was specifically attacking Ash and Pikachu in the second trailer, I think Ash is likely to catch him.

So, what do you guys think about the new details of the XY anime? Ash is traveling with Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie, Clemont's little sister. Where'd you get this information? Not that I'm doubting. I just can't find where they announced it. Also, I'm glad they're going for an AG-like atmosphere. That, plus the fact that three of May's Pokémon have gotten MegaEvolutions, gives me some hope that May might (and I really emphasize the word MIGHT) make a reappearance. I just feel it in my gut. |

They emphasize "man" and the figure in the picture looks a bit too tall next to MegaBlaziken to be May. |

Doubtful. As much as I hope that May's gonna show back up, when I see facts about the anime, my brain goes on overdrive on how it's gonna go. Mary's probably not appearing unless they can work her Venusaur or Wartortle into it.
