So I was finally able to see an episode of Black and White (The episode was "Dreams by the Yard Full!" for those of you who were wondering) and I figured that I should share my views on it.
First off, it's been a while scince I've seen any of the newer eps but was impressed by the fact Sarah Natochenny has improved scince she started. Just goes to show that you can't believe everything a die-hard fan says. Secondly, I don't really find Iris annoying. I'm kinda indifferent about her character. Thirdly, I love the improved visuals. Yeah that's all I have to say about that one. And finally, I love Cilan as a character. I my own opinion, Jason Griffith is doing a great job in voicing him.
And that's what I thought. Now I just need to watch all of the other episodes that I've missed.

Though I have to say the anime really took a worse decision with Best Wishes. Because of that, the game sales of Gen 5 didn't came close to those of Gen 4.
Things that killed it:
Horrible writing.
Horrible writing.
Horrible writing.
Only Episode N managed to have better writing than the rest of BW, roughly almost even on par with both AG and DP.
Hikari's cameo was a pile of crap.
Too much kiddy stuff going on. Feels like that show was made for dumbed down 5 year olds. Yeah, Satoshi scanning every single Pokemon with his Pokedex, that's real smart, even those Pokemon that he already caught. Making stupid decisions in general. This anime is not going to last, and they're rush releasing XY and maybe an XY anime (if they do make it) just so they can get that horrible mess called Best Wishes off their backs.
I feel enraged after Hikari's cameo because her appearance literally did nothing and her OOC actions made me feel literally confused. Tomioka should have directed and written all her cameo appearances in BW. And she is my one of favorite Pokegirls, tied for first with Haruka. The endless amount of plot holes and plot armor in the show. Satoshi losing all of his Pokemon to one Lucario. Iris getting a Dragonite that one shots every single thing that pisses it off. The only thing I could say something positive about BW: the Seiyuu in Original voice and Team Rocket and Team Plasma.
The Best Wishes movies were either an eyesore or made me go to sleep. The DP movies were far better, I hear they were almost as good as the first couple of OS movies.
Now they're have a new 'season' DA! to cover all their mistakes up. Just another overglorified filler season before that anime finally bites the dust. Goes to show the writers in BW really have no idea what they are doing.
I know that I'm complaining about a show for kids and young men, but seriously DP and AG were better than BW.

I know that, but I'm just saying that whatever direction they took, they would have to think of something fast to reverse the decline like they did with Gen 4. When they announced DA!, that's when I somehow knew the writers were going to say 'f*** it' and make an entire pre-Kanto filler arc. |

Well, BW was mainly a way to try and capture the same fame that they achieved with the Indigo League with a new generation. XY will probably be better if they're gonna try to mimic Johto's success.
