Ultimate's theme is baller af.
The game has directional airdodging similar to Melee and Brawl. Rage is unfortunately back, but from the demo it wasn't shown all too well. Dash dancing is a bastardization of both Melee and 4, where it's better than 4 but it's still shit and may not be as useful as Melee. It's subject to change. The knockback formula needs to change as they sometimes get thrown off the stage to be seen as death, but they still somehow live. It may be seen as good DI, but when even casual players live from a forward smash at like 123.1% - it just feels off.
Good thing the game will still be tweaked up until its release.

They also revealed that you can turn off stage hazards now! You can toggle between them! So now we have Battlefield and Omega along with this. Thank fucking God! |

Not only is this not all of the changes found so far but the game is still in development so there's bound to be plenty more by the time it's released on the 7th of December.

I honestly hope Ultimate has an Adventure Mode like Brawl did. I thought "Subspace Emissary" was pretty cool.

Considering the fact that they've already shown a large portion of the roster (Something which is normally used as the main method of generating hype for the series) and that so many of them start out locked, I'd be incredibly surprised if this wasn't the case. |
