What do you think of Best Wishes? Before everyone rants, I'll share my thoughts:

I LOVE this series!!

It has EVERYTHING I could ever ask for!

It has humor, it has serious Team Rocket and it has IRIS!! <3 And the Cilan, too! NEGAISHIPPING RULES!!!

Along with serious TR, it has Dr. Zager, ON-SCREEN Giovanni, Matori, and Pierce!

The dialogue is the best in the series, ever. I can listen to Iris and Cilan's words all day and never get tired of it. Whoever wrote the scripts for the episodes deserves a raise!

Character personalities and group dynamic is better than all.

It even has the greatest rivals of all Pokemon history! Burgundy, Trip, Cameron, Bianca and Georgia are awesome! They're all really powerful! Gary can't touch this!

Ash is losing a lot more often and is weaker, which is great!

He has so many Pokemon now, from Pidove (or now Unfezant) to Palpitoad, they're all knockouts!

And now they're having  Ghetsis, N, Cheren and Colress in the anime! *squeal*

Best of all, certain characters are no longer here!

Season 1 was amazing, Season 2 is even better, Episode N is going to be unrivaled!!

Thank Gandhi I'm not the only one who likes the series.
I saw the preview for episode N and started fangirling so hard.
AND MELOETTA!
I loved the Meloetta storyline. Heck, I love Meloetta in general. Having Meloetta and Dawn there at the same time was AWESOME!
Cilan is hilarious(though not as much as Brock)and Iris is pretty cool. I like May and Dawn better, but she's better than Misty, in my opinion.
Overall, it's a fantastic series and doesn't deserve all the hate it gets

I can't believe I forgot to mention Meloetta in my OP She was epic, I was sad when she had to go...and I hated TR for capturing her...

I liked the part where Meloetta was admiring Cynthia (in part 2 of Operation Tempest).

I think Cilan > Brock and Iris > Most, but that's just me

Cilan and Brock are pretty even, but in the end I have to pick Brock b/c of the girls. I just love it. Iris is a TON better than other characters like Max, Trip,etc. but I was comparing the female companions.

I can't believe I forgot to mention TR. They are so cool now. Sure, their funniness was comedy gold, but having a formidable enemy makes the whole plot more interesting.

Which leads to Ghetsis.

Epic. That will be epic. I can't wait.

It's like they're trying to make him like Paul, except nicer to Pokemon. He is messed up. I'm not even sure how to describe it.

Ash has clearly regressed as a trainer, after years of travelling he is making rookie mistakes? Why? I'm not saying he should be absolutely smart but there are somethings that after years of being a trainer should remember.

Also he is weaker as well. Now I'm not saying he should be unbeatable but he should be beating various trainers. Pikachu got owned by a Snivy fresh from being picked and some little punk Panpour. Ummm... no.

Then there is Iris. She is annoying. All she does is call someone a kid. Boring. Her saving grace is Dragonite and Excadrill.

Then Bianca. she's worse. She is a fool that always seems to run in screen all retarded and shit with her eyes closed and knocks Ash into some body of water. Possibly the worse running gag that the show has ever seen. Ever. And then following that she'll stalk someone else's Pokemon and think that it is hers. Ummm. No go away you turd.

Trip is basically a crappy carbon copy of Paul. And Cameron is an idiot. Worse rivals ever.

I absolutely hate that they have ran the Unova league so quickly so that they can make way for the N series. N is overrated. Pure and simple.

I do like the Pokemon Ash has and that he has caught more than just 5 so he has enough for the Unova League. I like the updated animations especially in the battle scenes. And Team Rocket getting their shit together is great. And although I have enjoyed parts of the series, it is clearly the worse out of all of them.

Ash has regressed too much, but that doesn't bother me, personally.

Iris has stopped doing the kid thing as often, and I like all of her Pokemon except Emolga.

I agree 100% on Bianca, but she doesn't do much besides that, so she's tolerable.

I am one of the people who loves N. The main reason I like him is the fact that he has a deep character. Impressive, considering he's from the games. I'm also a Ferriswheelshipper, so that makes me like him even more.

I also agree with what you said about Ash's Pokemon. Finally, some variety1

Like with Team Plasma and Team Rocket appearance plus the return of Charizard. It better pull through.

Not sure what to think here. I like how the series has freshened up the formula a lot (i.e. Team Rocket's role, the Meloetta story, the upcoming N season, etc.), but then again, it has been infamous for its regression of Ash and how Iris is portrayed, among other stuff. I'm gonna say I like the series, but if I were to make an order of my favorite to least-favorite series, BW is probably gonna end up at the bottom of the list.

I agree with most what JJWalker has said. Ash seems to gone backwards in this series and reminds me a lot of his Kanto self. What is sad though the main writers are the same ones that wrote from Kanto all the way to Unova. So I can't blame people if they are under the idea that there have been different writers for each region when really it's been the same writers from the start.

Ash just simply had too much pokemon to being with, great idea on paper but poorly executed. And his team was not ready for the league. And the league, God, it was so rushed it's not funny. It annoys the hell out of me. Also the screen time. Each pokemon would show up, returned to Juniper and show up 30 episodes later for a 5 min cameo. Ugh. 

Iris was a little annoying at the start but I soon got to like her. But I really hate she is spamming Dragonite everywhere and for nearly every battle. Whatever happened to her dream to evolve her Axew? That plan seems to be already thrown out the window.

Bianca got annoying, her gag was dull and same with ''everyone-getting-Stephan's-name-wrong" Trip just didn't live anywhere near Paul as a rival. I'm not saying I want Trip to be like Paul, what I'm saying is that Paul had a much more better impact on Ash to improve as a trainer than Trip. Trip, simply didn't do this. In fact, I can't remember the last episode he was in. Sigh, it seems he is getting the 'Kenny treatment' And Cameron is like those pokemon noobs who thinks dragon types are weak against flying. His is that annoying and the fact a fool like him has a super strong team irritates me more. Like, why writers? I prefer Ash losing to Tobias again. 

My only hope for me to even enjoy this series is the N saga. I just hope they start the season well and end it well without rushing for Gen 6. I mean they got 10 months, surly they can fit a few decent episodes without the need of rushing.
