Other shippings you like besides Satoharu

Actually, May WAS with Ash in Sinnoh (for all of one or two episodes). That said, while I do like Advanceshipping, it's not necessarily my number 1 shipping of choice. These are my top 5 shippings:

1)AshXMelody(not sure if it has a name, but it was in Pokemon 2000)-personally I think that pairing could've actually gone somewhere, since I don't think it's too often you see a girl blush after kissing a complete stranger, so I think this shipping has potential, though I'm not sure if it was ever an acknowledged shipping, but I still think it could've been one.
2)Pokeshipping-I've always thought that this ship was likely to happen (since I'm sure theres a reason Misty was on the show for FIVE seasons of Ash's travels, more than Iris May or Dawn,thus hinting strongly at it).
3)AshXLeaf (I think this is called Furthershipping?)
4)DawnXPaul(good shipping for Dawn)
5)AshXIris(again one that isn't often used but possible)

well I do somewhat watch it, but that shipping was more done as both a joke and a nod to the fact every other female he's traveled with has been suggested as a potential love interest for Ash, so why not Iris? It would make sense, though I can see how their personalities would clash. And I know you meant actual traveling, I mentioned that bit about the all of 2 or 3 episodes to indicate that the producers seem to have a pattern of having Ash switch traveling companions often, though they do briefly return (Misty cameoed in Advanced Battle and returned in Battle Frontier for a few episodes, May cameoed in Galactic Battles, traveling with Ash briefly while they headed to the Wallace Cup), so you can see the pattern. But as to AshXLeaf, I wasn't aware of it either until I read a fic about it, which showed me that it had potential as a pairing.

You're right about the cameos, but it saddens me that after the first cameo the characters practically fall off the face of the earth.

They should've given at least May one more season with Ash, if for no other reason than to make things interesting, but unless they pull a whopper in the new season, that's not likely to happen. Lol, luckily that's wny they invented fanfiction.

ok if you hate advanceshipping, why did you join this site? I've only been a member for a few hours, and even I can tell most of the people here like the idea of Advanceshipping, and some even consider it their "OTP", so I have to say I'm surprised you can say something like that, knowing that while people would acknowledge it's just your opinion, there could be people who take offense to your remark? Personally, I like Advanceshipping (not my favorite Ash shipping though, but it's still good), and think maybe you need to re-evaluate your definition of weak, since in my opinion, Contestshipping is weak.

lol don't worry, Anthoneey, your secret's safe with me, and possibly whoever else sees that post, but really being a Pokeshipper's not that bad, especially if you're a Pokeshipper who has Advanceshipping as their second favorite shipping, like myself, so don't worry. you're among friends....somewhat.

Well that's one of the problems, I'm not sure which one is my main. I mean, everybody probably thinks I'm a full advanceshipper (except beastmode for some reason), I've never told them anything about Pokéshipping. XD

honestly, what would be the big deal if both of them were your mains? I mean it's not like it's taboo to have two OTPs and/or two main shippings (Poke and Advance shipping in your case), or anything...is it? And if everyone here was as close as I've been hearing they are, then they'd likely accept you even if you weren't a full Advanceshipper...

I don't doubt that they'll accept me even if Pokéshipping would be my main, it's more like a personal fight between the two of them. Advanceshipping seems so natural, but I can't seem to forget all of the hints of Pokéshipping. xD

@anthoneey I'd wager that since this seems to be primarily an Advanceshipping site (the general antithesis to Contestshipping), there aren't very many Contestshippers on here. Also I didn't think it was a question. But personal fight? Ships can fight?
