I don't like Rocketshipping because James is too good for Jessie.

While I like Rocketshipping, I totally agree with Gengar that James could do better. He can be a surprisingly sweet and considerate person. Jessie on the other hand >_>

I like to think that James acts as Jessie's rock behind the scenes - when she goes overboard, he anchors her back down.
The writers really kind of screwed with their relationship and partnership, if you ask me, so I do agree with you there. In the original Pokemon series I don't think I can remember Jesse being so...manipulative, I guess is the word? Like in AG, she really started to take advantage of him a lot.
I loved that episode in the original series when James was considering abandoning his life as a member of Team Rocket to go back home with his family, but eventually decided to stay with Jesse and Meowth. That scene at the end when Jessie and James are both in the balloon staring at each other smiling in front of the sunset really tugs at my heart strings, lol xD <3

Ikari and Pearl are both really great! Personally I like Ikari a tich better than Pearl though xP

Strangely enough that isn't the case (I love a good rivaly between May and Dawn). I just find Ikarishipping more attractive. You know what they say: opposites attract. Besides, the mentor relationship is nothing new, and so I can't feel as many sparks as I originally did with Advanceshipping. Also, Dawn is the only girl I can honestly see having any interest in Paul, and so their relationship is more original and cute (in my own opinion of course)

Everyone has their own opinions of shippings they like and don't like. I'm sure there are many people who don't support the ships I do and that's perfectly ok. Getting back to contestshipping, I don't hate drew at all. He can be an alright guy sometimes (if not a little arrogant). Its obvious he holds some type of affection for may because of the roses she gets from him (for beautifly, YEAH RIGHT!). I'm just not a supporter of it. |
