I'm a victim of misinterpretation here. I never in any of my sentences used an absolute word. If I said "Absolutely only" I'd be giving you touché right now. But I didn't. "This may not be true for every topic out there, but it most certainly is for Pokemon. No matter which way you swing it, bringing Pokemon down to that level is not only immature and pitiable, it's just downright gross." Absolute number one. " Only the professional (and I mean real professional, like the ones that get their stuff published) writers can do it" Absolute number two. No one is trying to convince you to leave, Porahgon. It just isn't fair to make people feel bad about these kinds of things, and I'd really like to prevent someone's feelings from getting hurt. I would do the same thing to anyone else if I saw it. What concerns me most is your blunt and direct attack of me stating opinions as facts. I stated my opinions as opinions, and brought about my insight and determined interpretation because of facts. I'd be more careful with who and how you attack in what way. You won't get much by me. I'm sorry if I came off as harsh or blunt. I understand how my response may have come across as such. I just stated what I saw and how it came across. I will be careful about how I address future issues of this nature. But that was how your statement came across with the inclusion of the above sentences I quoted. I'm not trying to attack you or single you out in any way; just trying to do my job here on the site.

some people, like my pyromaniac self, enjoy playing with fire. In the same way some writers enjoy writing that stuff....

Well I'll be. I'm not only astonished by what has just happened, I'm also quite sad. Here I thought "Hey! A forum run by AdvanceShipper community! This outta be nice " ... ...ah who am I kidding. We're not a community. We don't give a care about each other. This is also some mini, immature battle to be better than the rest. To beat the ContestShippers. To oust the PokeShippers. It always has been that way, and probably never will stop. Remember AlexTheRose? Yeah. I was the only person who tried to bring him back. To comfort him. To tell him things were going to be okay. If this was a community everyone would have done that. ...-sigh-... Most certainly isn't an absolute word. Definitely is. No matter which way you swing it is a persuasive phrase of opinion. Not even in the category of absolute or non-absolute. Only is an absolute word. But in context, it did what it was supposed to do. No one here is good enough, or mature enough, of a writer to use any of that stuff, with perhaps the only possible exception MAYBE being midnightmoon. I myself am nowhere near being skilled enough to use that, and based on the reviews I get on my stories it seems I'm a pretty darn good writer. It's an adult topic, needing to be covered by adult writers. And Pokemon is not an adult topic. Will I always be a fan? Perhaps. But already I rarely play the games. I don't even write the stories under the context of "Pokemon" anymore, more along the lines of real people. What aggravates me most is the lack of consideration and appreciation around here is giving everyone, most especially me. I brought back the fervor in a couple of people here, and -whabam- some of them go and make a new site without even offering me a position on the board. It's not that I'm power hungry or care, but the thought does matter to me. It sends the message of lack of importance. And honestly, it's kinda true. I don't have the aggressive and outgoing fervor for this like I used to. Heck I'm getting popular on fan fiction for raimeishipping, not advanceshipping. So with that message I will go ahead and take my leave while I still have a curtsy to give. This is not your fault s. muffin. You happened to make a small error on a guy who was hanging on to a thin thread. A very very very narrow, hollow, thin, whisky thread. So for the last time everybody: Cheers. -Px

I realize this is sort of contradicting my previous message, but you complain about us lashing out at you, and then you turn right around and lash out at us.... I'm sorry but the only thing I can think right now is "hypocrite"... I'm truly sorry, but it's just not something I tolerate. Those are my morals and they won't change...

I don't really have much to say other than I'm sorry that you didn't feel included and that you decided to leave. You've been pretty inactive lately, though. Through no fault of your own, I'm sure, since you're probably busy and whatnot. We've all been here pretty much everyday.
I don't believe I made any error other than what I owned up to and apologized for. You were being rude and insensitive. You were stating your opinions as facts. It's right there in your posts, and I simply will not sit by and watch that happen, regardless of who it is. There is absolutely no need to put anyone down for what they like to read and/or write by calling them immature and gross, and I'm really not sure why you think you're qualified to decide who is allowed to write what and state it in such an absolute way. That's your opinion. Not fact.
Only a Sith deals in absolutes.
But, in any case, take care and best of luck to you on your future endeavors.

I love the quote Sara but that line, "Only a Sith deals in absolutes", is rather contradictory.
Either way the Black Out Day is over and I'm locking this thread.
