I don't really know how I feel about the holding the 3DS upside down thing...
Although I'm starting to think there will be a new type and that Sylveon is gonna be it. Only because on Pokemon Smash they tested several moves against Sylveon and the moves that were super effective and not very effective against it didn't match up to any of the current typings (But it matched up pretty well with the Fairy type rumor that we saw on PokeBeach)
Idk, maybe.

Yeah, the giving away the starter thing is a bit far-fetched. Pun intended. XD
Anyway, I suppose that I could probably believe most of the other stuff. Plus, I really hope that double reverse type triangle for the starters is true.

Eh, overall nothing too surprising. The different ways to evolve would be kinda fun, just a little odd to figure out if they didn't tell everyone beforehand how to do it. When it comes to the rival giving you their Pokemon, I don't really see it considering how Pokemon is always built around the idea of bonding with a trainer and your starter is supposed to be the closest Pokemon you have.
As for the twin triangle of the starters, I personally am not overly enthused about it. They just made the game even easier with that one because every other game you have a disadvantage against your main rival due to typing and it gives you a very good incentive to get build a counter. Honestly, if it wasn't for the experience change they did in Gen V, I would probably go at the game with only two Pokemon again. I usually do three to be on the safe side and for more variety, but if I don't need to worry as much about my rival's most powerful Pokemon I can free up my other choices of who to train.
Either way because of said change I'll still need to figure out a team of four again... *sigh* It's such a bother trying to level a team like that evenly. Especially when it's inefficient to simply out level your opponent to beat them.

Well, the E3 reveal is tomorrow. Then all will be revealed.
I won't be able to cover it, though. I'll rely on you guys to do so.

Dragon types are now going to get raped by fairy/pixi dust.
I can already imagine the memes right now.

And now for speculation time: Which Pokemon do you guys think will become Fairy-types?

From what I know so far Jigglypuff, Gardevoir and Maril will get this new type.

Personally. I'm voting for the Clefairy and Snubbul families, as well as Mawile, as they are literally referred to as the "Fairy Pokemon" in the pokedex.

Well now that Fairy-Type has been confirmed the other data from the unofficial source just looks more credible now.
I just wonder how they're going to use that Pokemon-amie thing. Is it just going to raise happiness or will it be used elsewhere too? Even if it was simply to raise happiness it wouldn't be that bad considering it can be time consuming depending on the resources you have available.

Maybe that's the in-game EV training minigame the source was talking about?

Two new pokemon, Pokémon-amie, the new Fairy type, and the games are being released on October 12th is three days after my birthday. Can today get any better than this? Unless the stupid weather ruins my mood again.
