Personally, I want the double type triangle for the starters. I want Chespin's evolutions to be Grass/Dark, Fennekin's evolutions to be Fire/Psychic, and Froakie's evolutions to be Water/Fighting. That way, any starter can beat any other starter, making the games more challenging and leaving the choice of starters to be up to personal opinion rather than strategy.

I mean, if they did that for this gen, and this gen happened to be the last one (because people said Gen 5 would be the last one, but then Gen 6 came out), I would be able to die in peace. XD But seriously, the double type triangle is a good idea. I mean, they're not new type combinations or anything (although it would be the first time that Fire/Psychic was a non-legendary type combo), but it would still make things way more interesting. Plus, if that were the case, I would totally go with Froakie, because out of the three type combinations, Water/Fighting has the least number of weaknesses. But, everyone has their own opinion on which starter is best, which is why they should do the double type triangle so we have to pick based on opinion. |

Yeah I've heard a lot of people saying they want that to happen this gen. It would be good even for the sake of teaching new comers more type advantages beyond the simple water grass fire triangle.

Well even if I haven't read the manual that comes with each game since Gen I, they do give a full Super-Effective chart in there. Although honestly I never even used that and just figured it out as "Hey that attack was good against X, better remember that." Although for the longest time I kept thinking that Ice was good against Rock and kept on having Blastoise use Ice Beam on Aerodactyl instead of Surf. Although I honestly didn't learn about STAB until the quizzes/school on Pokemon Stadium, hehe.

i want a pokemon game with everything the previous games had and maybe some online server thing where you could play competitive pokemon and a fair trading station with no stupid request for level 9 and under legendary's.and every single pokemon available,over 48 badges,extra save files and a online box just in case you delete your save file (or if someone else does looking at you kyuubi14 you will pay for deleting my leafgreen save file ) and a higher difficulty cause i think that the pokemon games are to easy feel free to share your thoughts on this |

Well, there were a few differences in Gen 1. For example, Lick was the only Ghost-type move that was super-effective against Psychic. Also, Bug and Poison were both super-effective against one another (Bug is now not very effective and Poison just hits it normally). And then, Bug-type moves were regularly effective against Ghost, and the same for Ice-type moves used against Fire. Obviously, both are not very effective against those types respectively.
This is really why I'm not wanting any new types in these games. The reason is because a lot of changes would have to be made to the type chart, and there would be very few Pokémon of the new type(s) to choose from. I mean, what if the Pokemon with the new type(s) have worse concepts than Vanillite and Trubbish?

FUCKING YES. I SWEAR TO GID THE NEXT LITTLE BASTARD I SEE ASKING FOR A FREAKIN LVL 9 OR UNDER LEGENDARY WILL ANSWER TO MY FIST. I also would LOOOOOVE a second save file. That way, when you feel like restarting, you don't gave to delete everything you've already accomplished. |
