Congrats on the first win by the way! Thanks! :3 By any chance does anyone know where to find.. Furfrou Ducklett Ferroseed Trapinch Eevee Mareep :3 Off the top of my head I think Furfrou and Eevee are near the big castle past Camphrier Town (The next town.) Mareep are available right before the first place you need Surf to progress, and Trapinch are in the desert area south of the Fairy Gym town (Furthest one north.) Not sure on Ducklett, and Ferroseed is in one of the caves.

Lead with a ghost type because that place is filled with Wobbafet.

Ghost types are immune to traps so they are unaffected by Shadow tag and Mean look. Grass types are immune to powder attacks so Poison powder and Spore won't do a thing to them. Electric types can't be paralyzed. At all.

If you just plan on going through the main game then you shouldn't need to worry about it.

You should really only worry about EV's, IV's stats, natures etc if your going to play competitive battling. If you just going through the game then just catch any pokemon you like to your hearts content.

And besides, in my play through of X some of the Pokémon I raised have actually been really good in battle, so you don't have to worry about EV training.
