Not surprising. The initial starter is almost always a single type. It's the evolutions that really matter.

As for the 3DS I waited until a few sales come along and got the 3DSXL as an excuse to also get the R4 card. But apparently the order never went through.

Doesn't surprise me either that the starter's are pure grass/water/fire. They're always like that in their first stage.xD

Second, I don't like the control pad. For small gaming devices such as these, I prefer the cross control pad rather than the stick-like pad.;__; Eh, whatever. My DS is starting to slightly break, so I need a new one anyway's.

Again, their evolutions have not been confirmed yet, so that doesn't mean that they won't evolve into dual-types.

And I'm probably gonna be getting a 3DS at some point, maybe even an XL since I'm so used to my DSiXL's size.
