Well, here's an interesting theory I found today on Tumblr! I just realized something! If Xerneas resembles a neuron and Yveltal resembles a blood vessel (or whatever that was), then there's no doubt that the third Legendary would resemble an endoderm organ of some sort. Since the endoderm pictures include organs, I'm starting to sense that the third Legendary would look like a snake (a.k.a. intestines). Then again, that's just me.

Yes, that would make sense indeed! And if it had a snake-like body, it can produce a Z shape a lot better.xD Also, found another theory! TYhis one is pretty different and makes a lot of sense as well.~ EDIT:Would make sense too. I think if this is true, they might also be based on their speed. Xerneas would be extremely fast. It would be as fast as the speed of light. And Yveltal would be fast as the speedof sound. The colours on Xerneas antler's really do resemble the light spectrum. And because it's smaller, it can move a lot faster. Since Yveltal can fly, it can slightly resemble a jets speed. Some jets can go as fast as the speed of sound.

If game freak some how has combined all these theories into these two legendaries, then they're geniuses.
And it seems like GameFreak has been listening to what the fans want lately, so I wouldn't be surprised with Sound and Light types added to the mix.

On that basis do you think Yveltal's ability will be Soundproof?

@haruka: I'm glad you agreed with me! And that's such a great theory. Jeez, a lot of theories are coming up. I guess this is what we get when Gen VI comes up already! @gengar: Yes, that would be a great stroke of genius indeed! If they do so, I will worship 'em forever. ;D praise luke: At this point, where a lot of sensible theories are arising, anything's possible.

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. As cool as these types would be, they would cause a lot of problems. Here's why...
Okay, so there are a lot of attacks already that deal with sound, such as Growl, Howl, Snarl, Screech, etc. If they added a Sound-type, they would have to change just about all of those moves' types to the new Sound type. Now, that wouldn't be so hard as one might think, but then we get to the problem of the Light-type: Crescelia.
Crescelia and Darkrai were meant to be Dark and Light opposites as well as Dream and Nightmare opposites. If there was a Light-type created, then Crescelia would have to change types, too. That would definitely cause a bunch of problems that would be really unnecessary, not to mention the changes to the type chart. So really, the Psychic-type is the Light-type in a way, so we really don't need one. That's my theory.

Oh, okay then.
But yeah, that's what I've theorized for a while. Plus, Ampharos is called the "Light Pokemon". It's an Electric-type, which I theorize is a part of the "Light"-type.

On that note, If Pokemon were to include new types... what types would they be?

I really don't think we need new types. I think that the seventeen that we've got are enough.

With the inclusion of the older Pokemon, do you expect new evolutions from them? I hope not. Gen IV just made it stale and it really doesn't make sense with some of them. I want the new Pokemon, not the old ones, to have evolutions.

I wouldn't mind seeing a few Pokémon gain an evolution, especially ones that could be great with evolutions (I'm looking at you Sableye.)
As for adding types, I wouldn't mind either way. I don't really think they will add light and sound, but if they do I won't be surprise. Adding new types might seem to mess things up, but nothing major that can't be fixed. Magnemite and it's evo gained a steel typing in gen two. And rotom's different forms changed in Gen V.

So really, the Psychic-type is the Light-type in a way, so we really don't need one. That's my theory. When they meant sound/light they didn't mean by type. They meant by species. Like, Umbreon is a dark type, but it's called the Moonlight Pokemon. ((Yes, when they first made this Pokemon, they made a completely different type. But it's the only Pokemon I can think of for now.xD /shot)) Eh, I don't know if that made much sense. But what I'm saying is, they wont make a new type. Just a few new attacks and stuff. Nothing new. They've done this before. And Crescelia and Darkrai are based off of dreams mostly. They only have that dark/light theme going on only because one is 'good' and one is 'bad'. But I understand what you mean.~ And personally, I don't really want new types. Maybe one or two, but that's it. Remember that gen.2 made a completely different type in its time, and it turned out great!x3 So maybe 1 or 2 wouldn't be so bad. Yes, I agree. I wasn't too crazy about gen. 4 because the evolutions looked way weird. Some I REALLY liked though. However, I would like to see a few new evolutions. Perhaps new Eevee-lutions? And like Gengar mentioned, I'd like to see an evolution for Sableye!~ But I mostly want new Pokemon's.; A ; AND WHEN WILL THEY RELEASE THE FINAL FORMS OF THE STARTER'S!? I NEED TO KNOWWWWWWW.; A ;
