I wonder how they correlate to the mythos of Pokemon. Could Xerneas be the guardian of the lands and Yveltal be the guardian of the sky? Or something like that.

Mmmm it would be cool to have a two teams. If Gengar's theory is right, then one team would want to catch the X legendary to save the land from the humans (somewhat like Team Plasma) and the other would want to catch the Y legendary to conquer it (Like almost every single criminal organization in the series).

Do you think it's possible to have the evil group this year do attacks on cities and then use the 3D aspect of the game to show buildings collapsing and other stuff to that effect.

That one was pointed out in the games. The volcanic Stark Mountain kept the entire Island in Northen Sinnoh warm and unfrozen. It's kinda like Iceland.

What kind of environment do you guys think the new region will have? Kanto and Unova seems temporate, Johto was mountainous, Hoenn was humid and tropical, while Sinnoh seemed to be on the cold side.
