It doesn't matter The fact is, Advanceshipping's fanfiction and fanarts are ALWAYS a way better then Contestshipping and Pokeshipping stuff and that's something that we can be proud of That's purely opinion. A lot of people might disagree.

If we are talking about which May ships people prefer out of Contest and Advance, Contest is most likely, always going to win. But the polls always change from time to time. But like I said there before, if there is a ship that I think is the most hardest or complicated to ship, its Contest and Advance. If you watch the anime closely, right after a contest hint there would always be advance right after. Sometime Drew and May's moment is interrupted by Ash. Like that moment on the beach, May watches Drew walk down the beach after talking before being interrupted by Ash offering a ice cream to her. Or that time where Drew and May talk and both blush after Harley comes and talks to them being together before Ash and co calls May (or says something to her idk anymore.) To be honest, I believe AG is the most, how we say, most romantic saga. I mean we even had love based episodes which seems rare in the current anime. Also Ash was the most 'mature' yet funny in AG. So seeing Ash with May back then was possible to a certain extent. If you are talking which Ash ship out of the major four, Advance normally comes a close 2nd. (Oh yeah, I'm back. )

Even Max got a shot at romance when Ash and co. decided to battle the Winstrate family lol. While I do agree that Ash was definitely very mature over the course of AG, I still couldn't believe that Ash wondered if Treecko was a water type back in AG001, well at least in the Japanese original. >.>

Well at least he knew what his was doing in Ag and Dp, unlike in Bw..

Half the fans for the games are the teens. Nearly everyone that goes online to battle, trade etc are in their teens or older. We teens write the fan fiction, draw the art and talk about the game online. So why not make a anime that is aimed at the audience? I mean my eight year nephew can't even understand the anime or the game, so why cater for a age group that won't appreciated or understand the anime and it's story behind it? It's like making a cake you work so hard to only see nobody will bother to eat it.

(I got in at an even younger age, but still!) I will agree that an anime should be made to cater the older audience. However, I believe the younger audience still needs Ash. He's their idol, just like how he used to be ours, before we faced reality. I'm sure there's fans on this site who became Advanceshippers because Advanced Generation was their introduction into the show, and the fandom behind the franchise. I'm also pretty sure that the 11-13 year olds who grew up with Diamond and Pearl, will become the Pearlshippers of tomorrow, and so forth with the 5-10 year olds of today and Negaishipping and Best Wishes. Us teens are pretty much secondary (or maybe even non-existant) to the anime directors. (The games nowadays however, are definitely being geared so that ALL types of Pokemon fans can enjoy it) On an unrelated note, it looks like Pearlshipping is leading us by one at the moment lol.

He's right, though, bigger forum sites are usually a lot more strict when it comes to what qualifies as spam and whatnot. We're a little more lenient here because we acknowledge the fact that sometimes we can accidentally veer off topic, too. We also like to interact with members a lot more rather than just sit back and occasionally drop in just to enforce some rules.
