Lol, I laughed at that part, too! But no one else did...poor saps, if only they knew.
I really enjoy the humor in this movie overall. A lot of people criticize it for not being as heavy as the LOTR movies, but they don't seem to understand that it's not quite supposed to be xD The premise of the story and the narrative is meant to be a little more lighthearted and fairytale like.
And yeah, they will be! Like from the appendices in Return of the King and from The Silmarillion, too.

Yeah, a lot of people think it's dumb that it'll be three movies z but if their putting stuff from other books in, that actually seems pretty cool. I'm excited.

Sara - It might have just been regular 3D then, cause it shouldn't have felt choppy considering the HFR is its natural format.
But no matter what I'll be looking forward to the other movies, no matter what they are like.

Yeah, same here. Ugh, I just don't think I can wait twelve more months though  I mean, that's obviously a lot less time between films than most trilogies, so I guess I should be thankful that Peter Jackson is smart enough to shoot them all at once, but damn it I just can't wait xD I want to go see it for a third time before break ends, lol |

Saw it, loved it, Sara's picture made me laugh when that scene came and I had to struggle to keep it in.
