I was playing 'Mario and Luigi Dream Team' and 'Paper Jam'. Trying to score a no-hit challenge in the Boss Rush minigame (Bowser Jr's first attack is always where I get hit) in Paper Jam, and I finally figured out the trick to the Antasma X dream chase sequence also in the Boss Ring (jumping directly over the portals will reveal the true exit instead of the trap ones).
And then my files got corrupted and my battery literally got bloated (had to pry it out or else my 3ds will blow up).

A while back, I saw vids and streams of people speed running games, most notably, for me at least, was Smallant (smallant1 at the time), who speedran Super Mario odyssey. He inspired me to try speed running myself, and I did like 12 runs, my pb reaching as low as 1:21:14.79. In reality, this time is terrible. It’s like 24 mins off of the world record, and like 15 off what I would have liked to get.
Today, I decided I would try doing a speed run again with very little preparation and it having been like a year since my last run. I finished with a time of 1:27:30.95. This was the second best time I ever got. So after a year of rusting up, and feeling like I played terribly, it was better than almost every run I ever did. That’s just proof that I was terrible at it. Maybe I’ll try grinding out runs again and attempt to reach like 1:15 ir 1:10, tho I doubt it...

On Christmas, I downloaded Celeste. I'm currently still playing through the story, but it instantly became one of my favorite games.

So I can either play through so OP, or restart and have more fun. I'll probably just restart |
