I usually have a fairly predictable pattern across the five games. See for yourself: Kanto: Charizard, Fearow, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Electabuzz, Poliwrath
Johto: Typhlosion, Pidgeot, Gengar, Golem, Electabuzz/Electivire, Ursaring
Hoenn: Blaziken, Mightyena, Swellow, Aggron, Hariyama, Flygon
Sinnoh: Infernape, Luxray, Rampardos, Gallade, Garchomp, Gliscor
Unova: Emboar, Beartic, Bisharp, Crustle, Krookodile, Excadrill |

Wow, we didn’t update this thread when Alola came out. Let’s fix that, shall we?
What are some of your most recent teams? Have your tastes changed?
I think so. Since this time, I’ve used a number of teams that I’ve really enjoyed.
Y Nuzlocke Team: Yato the Chesnaught, Amy the Azumarill, Flint the Charizard, Rhea the Absol, King the Tyrantrum, Violet the Gengar
This was an interesting team, and an emotional ride as well. We lost a lot of good members, and even ones I got strangely saddened about losing. But in the end, we won the Locke.
Sun Team: Archer the Decidueye, Beowulf the Lycanroc (Midday), Elysia the Raichu (Alolan), Fujiko the Salazzle, Mizore the Ninetales (Alolan), Let the Kommo-o
Since X Version, I’ve made it a habit to name every Mon I catch. This was a nice team for my first journey through Alola. But it still made me want to travel through it once more...
Moon Team: Ariel the Primarina, Jarvis the Magnezone, Kai the Marowak (Alolan), Spirit the Mudsdale, Lizabeth the Tsareena, Mac the Crabominable
This run gave me some fun Mons to use as well. Though, I don’t know if I’ll ever use Crabominable again... I also got Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, but I’m still Nuzlocking those, so I won’t reveal the final teams until I beat them. Then, I’m considering a journey through Sinnoh...
Now, for the moment you’ve all been waiting for... My Galar Squad. I haven’t beaten the Champion Cup yet, but I do have a final squad of six that I’ve spent a lot of time raising and battling with.
Sword Team: Monty the Cinderace, Raphael the Drednaw, Lancelot the Sirfetch’d, Toxin the Toxtricity (Low Key), Zelie the Hatterene, and Jetstreak the Dragapult
Honestly, this is the first game I didn’t have a full team in mind from the get go. The only ones I knew I had to use were Cinderace and Dragapult. The rest were undecided. In fact, I’ve used a number of other Mons as I’ve went since some of these Mons I didn’t get until late game. But I have to say this is one of my favorite teams in a long time. This is a really strong team that I look forward to battling people with.

Blaziken, Sharpedo, Vikavolt, Metagross, Kabutops, and Toxtricity would be my dream team. Too bad that’s literally impossible since Toxtricity is from gen 8, which doesn’t support a few of the other ones from my list.
