You guys should definitely watch it! The cartoon was recently was added to US Netflix this year so there's soooo many people introduced to it this year and tons of new content being made for it. And Netflix is also making a PROPER live action show for it (we hope, don't want it to be the same monstrosity as the movie Hollywood tried to make years ago...) I don’t watch much TV in general and don’t exactly have easy access to it either. That’s why most of what I watch these days is YT |

Aquadrop OOF OKAY I THINK ABOUT THIS A LOT AND I'M ALWAYS REALLY CONFLICTED. i know for sure, i would NOT be fire nation because i cannot stand the heat at all if it's just 1 degree higher it feels like i'm gonna die. water would be cool and so would air--but idk i sort of feel like they don't fit my personality 110%. like i am TERRIFIED of heights and while i used to love swimming sooo much as a kid, i don't as much anymore lol. so i'd be an earthbender i think. it goes with my chinese zodiac sign/element anyways plus my birthstone is green soooo :-P plus idk but i've always kind of felt attached to the earth. and i love crystals a lot i have a bunch in my room (as well as fossils i've found when i was a kid!>:-3) but mmm my fav colour is red but green is also pretty nice!!=w= how about u?:-D as for the live action--not really looking forward to it.:-( i heard apparently the creators ended up leaving the live action because of disagreements (idk if that's true of not tho) so already not looking great. plus i generally don't watch very much live action shows (i can't help it i just like 2d a lot more lmfao geruighjerugfjhe) but maybe it'll get ppl hyped for more atla so i can never be disappointed over that. (and maybe it'll get them to make a cartoon sequal?owo and yes i know there's lok but i NEED a sequel of the og gaang)

Some of the fight choreography, maybe, but the actual bending and such could come off as looking fake. |

GloomyShoujo same here! I'm conflicted, I wish the creators were still there so it doesn't turn into something like Riverdale and add unnecessary extra darkness and constant romance issues WHICH ATLA DOESNT NEED AT ALL. But the two writers that were there didn't always make the best decisions for the show originally either (a lot of the good changes were made by the third writer - Aaron Ehasz who wrote most of Zuko's arc and some of the really good iconic episodes) I just hope the spirit is still there... Space Medafighter X and yeah I agree, animation will always be better than live action. Unless they're putting in a crazy amount of money into it... It still won't feel the same.

yesss, the show has everything in it, it doesn't need anything extra. I mean moreso from a cinematography POV, like most dark colour schemes (like DC movies), wouldn't work for ATLA, aside from certain scenes. Outside of Siege of the North, the dark colour scheme doesn't work well. |
