I almost feel a little hurt. I've come up with some of the most complex battle strategies in the Advanceshipping fanfiction community and I'm not even mentioned, lol. Oh well, just found this thread so might as well start typing. You guys shot off a lot of questions right at the first day.
What Pokemon would you want most to be your partner? You can choose any Pokemon except for legendaries. Also, tell us why that Pokemon would be your partner.
Not hard for most of you to guess, but I'd say Eevee. Even after all these years I still have a strange liking to the wonderful little furball. But overall if my Eevee would be anything like the one I've characterized in my stories for May I think it would be quite fun to be with. And if she ever evolves I would have plenty of options for what I might need or what she wants. Besides, Eevee is and always has been the best Pokemon of around that size.
Let's say you're late for school, a class, an important event, etc. Well, this isn't a problem in the Pokemon world! How would you get to your destination on time and what Pokemon would you use? It doesn't have to be just Fly or Surf. It can also be just something you ride for speed or just to look cool.
Hmm, obviously the first choice for going anywhere would be flight, just because of how convenient it is along with speed. So it would have to be either Charizard or Pidgeot with Dragonite coming in third. Charizard more for looks while Pidgeot and Dragonite for speed.
As for going over water, I'd probably only really do it either when flying isn't practical or just for relaxation, and the first two to com to mind for that would be Gyarados or Lapras.
Land based though, Metagross. If I could fly over walking I'd do that instantly so this would just be for looks. And what can be better than a walking psychic tank? Either that or Steelix, just for pure size and intimidation. Although teleporting with Espeon would be quite quick too...
What region would you most like to start your journey from, what's your starter Pokemon, and what kind of trainer would you be?
Had this question on the old board, so it's going to be fairly similar.
Region: Hoenn, as a Minnesotan I've always enjoyed the warm weather and the closer you get to the tropics the more relaxing it feels.
Starter: Assuming we have to choose from the three starters, Treeko. I usually go with the Fire-Type starter but I've always like Sceptile more than Blaziken.
Trainer Type: Would try to be a mix between League battler and Coordinator, with an emphasis on Leagues. Both have their own styles and would probably only support the other if you could get used to both.
If you could choose one legendary to have on your team, which would you choose?
My favorite legendary for the longest time has always been Mewtwo. So much potential and along with my general love of Psychic-Types, definitely my pick.
Which of the Advancers would be your rival?
Probably Raichu or Gengar. They're usually the two that seem most like they'd fit the role best.
Which of the Advancers would be your traveling partners? You can have up to four. Oh, and tell us why.
Sara - Probably knew her the best even before I came here so having a good friend with you is obvious. That and the mediator position that Phil mentioned, lol.
Pichu - A good person to bounce strategy ideas off of. He also seems like he would make a good sparing partner.
Aura - He's a bit more of the crazy members here and with some of the ways that he's explained himself he reminds me slightly of Max.
Aly - Can't have Sara being the only girl in the group. Besides having someone with medical knowledge is always a help.
Which of the Advancers do you think would be the toughest opponent for you to beat in a battle and why?
Hard to say. I usually use a varied team when I actually want a good makeup, and I really can't say how well everyone's strategies would come out in the end. So pass...
Who would you tag-team with in a tag battle?
Probably Pichu. He seems to be good with battling in general so setting up combos would probably be pretty easy.
If you were a coordinator, what Pokemon would you choose to compete in...Appeal round, Double appeal round, Single Contest battle, and Double contest battle?
Appeal: Milotic
Double Appeal: Espeon/Umbreon
Single Contest: Starmie or Vaporeon
Double Contest: Garchomp/Tyranitar
