It seems that CN hasn't released any other information yet, which sucks, but the petition is going strong. As I'm writing this we have around 5,300 signatures, and our goal is 10,000!

It's because the holidays and stuff are coming up. Plus, they're in their 20th anniversary right now. As well, there are several shows that are starting their new seasons like Star Wars: The Clone Wars and that new Ben 10 show. Since Young Justice ran new episodes through the summer, new episodes are on hold while they continue to make new ones. Animation isn't exactly the quickest thing to do, ya know.

I do too, but I don't think that there are going to be any more Marvel shows or animated movies on Cartoon Network anymore since Disney bought Marvel.

I'm well aware it's a slow process, but that's actually not true. Young Justice was on hiatus from early June until the very end of September, so there were no new episodes this summer. They then showed two episodes and then abruptly put them back on hiatus. The episodes are ready to be premiered, Cartoon Network just isn't running them and the producers of YJ and Green Lantern The Animated Series don't know what's going on yet, last I checked :/

Plus, it's not like YJ or GLTAS interfered with the times of the other shows. They're supposed to be scheduled for Saturday mornings at 10 and 10:30. In place of those shows they will now be playing reruns of How to Train Your Dragon. If they wanted to celebrate their birthday, they could have at least played some classic old school CN shows.

Either way, all we can do right now is speculate. No one from CN has released an official explanation. Even if they do have a good reason, it's just something you should announce to the public, especially the people who actually made the shows.
