I remember when I was in elementary school, A Series of Unfortunate Events was my series. I was always reading one of those books, lol. xD I still have a lot of the books I bought as a kid on my book shelf right now! Currently, my absolute favorite is Harry Potter!

As far as classic greek literature is concerned, The Illiad was pretty decent..
(even if it is sold as one volume, it is technically made up of 24 books)

Not too long ago I really liked the Warriors Saga. I lot interest with the never ending series though, but I still love the older books. I own over 20 novels xD
I also love the Autumn series by David Moody. It re-imagines how a zombie apocalypse should play out, and I respect that. Also, the endings for each book are so good you'd never guess there was a sequel to each book!
When I was younger I loved Harry Potter. I still love the movies, so I might reread the series some day.
I also like the novelizations of the video game Resident Evil. They are extremely entertaining ^^

The Hunger Games and The Millennium Trilogies are also very good.

Harry Potter for sure! xD I think they'd really enjoy the world of Harry Potter, seeing as they would probably be avid pokemon fans if they were real (just cause it's something different), and they'd look like the type to be into that stuff.
Hunger Games! Yes, I believe so! xD
Ash would ultimately like action/adventure, while I see May liking romance series, however, those two would be ones they both might get into! xD

I haven't read them, either xD I have them all downloaded, but still haven't gotten around to it!
If Ash and May were real, what book series could you see them enjoying? I could definitely see them being fans of the Harry Potter series, like some have already said. I also think they'd like the Percy Jackson books and any other series that has a good combination of action, adventure, awesome characters, and a little romance to keep things interesting!

I can see them bashing the twilight and 50 shades series.
