Yakitate!! Japan. A cooking manga with excessive use of puns that unfortunately only work in Japanese.

Detective Conan has canon shipping overload! Four and still going up.Two more are where both have explicitly stated their feelings towards each other, but not to each other... yet. To think that this manga is supposed to be about crime solving and fighting against some large criminal organisation.

Conan, where are you going to end? Almost 900 chapters and still no sign that it's nearing its end. The series is older than me.

I just wish they hadn't stopped dubbing the anime. I know. But I'm really conflicted with it. I want to know how it end yet it's so good I don't want it to end. So confusing! For the dub, I agree. I don't like the subtitles distracting me from the anime.

I've been reading Getter Robo lately. You can really tell that Ken Ishikawa's early work was heavily influenced by Go Nagai.

Started looking into Monster (Naoki Urasawa) the other day, and though I must admit I find the anime a bit more engaging, I read a bit in.
Holy crap, this story is complex. I love and hate it when manga wrestles with the morals of the character, and even in the first few chapters you can plainly see how screwed up and manipulation-based everyone's logic is. It's almost terrifying how accurate it is too.

There's a movie trilogy adaption of the latter. I saw the third one in the series and it got me interested in the manga. I highly recommend reading the manga before you watch the movies. I also highly recommend reading the manga. Once you finish "Monster" that is.
