You gotta be super close to someone to make those kind of jokes Ruth... Anyway I think it's almost Pokemon's formula now to make remakes eventually, and DP is definitely next in line. CAN'T WAIT FOR WHEN THEY CONFIRM IT! eh.... Ok, but that Xanny guy was the Master in it... Anyways, yep! But don't hold your breath, maybe those GO games... fuuuuuuuuuuuuucccccckkkkk Yeah because they're close friends......... her relationship with him is different. xD And ew, I hope it's not a Let's Go game, that would suck

The Gen 4 remake has been 95% confirmed with various twitter sources with the announcement to be made in February and set to release November this year. This being the 25th year of Pokemon, they've made a big statement, this game is set to be their best work ever! The fact I'm so hyped for DP remake is not only to play that but it also makes chances for Dawn's return and Sinnoh is my favorite region 😜 If it's just Twitter sources (even if they claim to be insiders), I won't hold my breath until the date of announcement arrives. I don't like to trust social media when it comes to these kinds of anticipated things.

DP remake might bring back contests in the latest series along with some new rules or twists. If this happens then Dawn and May are guaranteed a return...

Hot take/unpopular opinion: A Let's Go! remake for Gen II would be better than how SwSh ended up being.
But I'll take a meaty Gen IV remake any day.

Let's Go! > SwSh for me. Sue me, lol SwSh was something new in my opinion. New region, new pokemon, new battles but Let's go was a remake so we already knew majority plots not so interesting...

I'd argue there's little that SwSh did that was really all that new, though. SwSh did some good things--fantastic designs, good aesthetics and theming--and had a couple innovations with the Wild Area, but beyond that, it felt like a significant step back to the point of feeling lazy, especially with its story, postgame, and a mixed bag of a soundtrack. Let's Go!, while being a step back in many ways itself, at least was built on a proven foundation and introduced an innovation that the series desperately needed--non-random encounters, which I'm grateful to SwSh for continuing.
Basically, it actually added to the series in a way I found meaningful, while SwSh...didn't. Dynamax is just not that interesting to me compared to Mega Evolution, and I just didn't give a crud about the CurryDex. I do hope the Wild Area stays as a feature, though. Max Raids are also cool, although, that, too, feels more like an adoption of a Pokemon Go mechanic than something unique.
Of course, I hear that the DLC is actually quite good, which tempts me to indulge. But...I dunno. The base game being what it is still gives me pause. It's not a bad game by any stretch, but it just felt painfully average and more of the same. Let's Go!, ironically enough, stood out more and had more character to me despite being overpriced remakes.
Just my opinion, though.
