Hey guys! Thought I'd make a thread about our favourite characters in the series  Here you can share with others your favourite characters and engage in conversations with those who like the same character as you do! I'll start first. I like Gray. His back story is amazing. Also love his powers. Anyone with me? |

It's hard to pick a favourite character, because they're all so likeable, but I'd probably have to go with Gray, too. His backstory was pretty cool, but I also like how it explains how he got into the habit of taking his clothes off, so it isn't just a random thing he does for no reason. His personality isn't so over-the-top like some of the other characters. I also like his ice powers because they're not as commonly seen as say, fire magic.

Indeed. Like, I don't really mind some of the other characters' 'gimmicks', such as Elfman's obsession with the word man and manly, but it just seems so random, lol. I wouldn't go so far as to consider Gray a god, though. But I'm sure Juvia would agree with you on that.  |

It's always fun to imagine, though. But are you sure about living that close to Natsu? I could imagine him being pretty rough and noisy. Not to mention he'd probably constantly bother you to fight him if you happened to be a decent fighter. That makes me wonder where all the other Fairy Tail people live, though... |

I like Rufus. He looks classy and sophisticated and his magic is interesting. I also like Gray because he is at least embarrassed by his stripping habit. I also like Cana, i feel like she just drinks to hide away the pain of not having a father in her life.
I'd also like to talk about the characters people don't like. Anybody interested?

I'd also like to talk about the characters people don't like. Anybody interested? That's a tough one, since most of the characters are so likeable. Two that would come to mind are Lyon and Virgo. It's a shame they reduced Lyon to nothing more than a male version of Juvia in the later episodes, when he was first introduced as a pretty serious rival of Gray. Virgo because she randomly pop-ups in scenes where she doesn't belong, and I don't care about her 'comedic' moments, rarely makes me laugh. |

Me. I don't like Happy for some reason. I feel like his existence was annoying When I started watching Fairy Tail I thought I'd dislike him, because I'm generally not a fan of the cute sidekick animal/mascot in anime. But I love Happy when he's trolling Lucy. (off-topic: how do I quote multiple people at once to prevent double posting?) |
