Looks like war is coming to Beacon, can't wait to see how it all turns out.
Is it just me or did it look like Qrow and Winter have some sort of history?
I totally forgot who Winter and Qrow were... after looking it up, yup, definitely looks like they might have had a history. Maybe even a rivalry. xD Definitely a rivalry over something, maybe a bad break up?
Just watching the trailer again and paused it on the photo that floats past. It shows Ruby's mom, her and Yang's dad, Yang's mom and Qrow.
We've already seen Yang's mom though at the end of season 2.

Just saw chapter one of volume 3.
Animations is a bit jerky, and the fight scenes have slowed down a bit and got a bit stiff, but I'm not surprised. Neath Oum's voice suits Ren surprisingly well, and I like how they started the episode and how it progressed, especially the fact that the facial expressions are better.
I have a good feeling about this season. Rest easy Monty.

All right, so after watching the newest Death Battle, I decided to check this series out. I watched the first two volumes of it and then figured I'd give my say. I would apologize if my opinion offends anyone, but this is the Internet. So, I guess I'll say sorry, not sorry.
One thing I've enjoyed about this show is it doesn't take itself super seriously. At times, it's fun, it's interesting, it's completely stupid beyond belief. (I'm still questioning the dog turning into a flaming, somersaulting projectile.) The animation's great for what it is, but I wouldn't say it's an absolute masterpiece. I just like it because you don't have to take it seriously, except for those rare moments you get sucker-punched in the feels.
I think one problem I had with it is the pacing's not the best and there's too much going on at once. Seriously though, with all these different characters and plot lines appearing simultaneously, you're just left with all these questions. For example, what's the deal between Ren and Nora? These two hardly get any attention and at first, I cared way more about Team Juniper than our actual protagonists. I still want to see more from them, honestly.
As for the actual protagonists, the only one I have a problem with is Ruby, and I think this is clearly shown in Volume 2 when their teacher asks everyone but Ruby why they want to be a Huntress. She's not a bad character, but I find myself caring less about her quite often. For example, at the end of the dance episode, when she's found in the room fighting the villainess, I expected her to get in trouble, but even the general says she did the right thing. Someone should have at least gone all Goblet of Fire Dumbledore on her.
Actually, now that I think about it, this show really reminds me of Goblet of Fire.
Anyway, like I said, it's not a show that takes itself super seriously, and that's what makes it work. I am wondering how the show will change now that the creator has passed. Guess I'll have to watch the new episode and find out.
Oh, yeah, those Goliath elephant Grimm looked so legit. Loved them!

I hope you don't get seasick, because there are a lot of ships here (some more crack then others). Anyway, give it some time. After all, RWBY's still just a webseries starting its third season, not to mention the creator/director/lead animator/fight choreographer died last February.

New topic. What's you favorite Grimm, or what ideas for Grimm do you have?I love the Goliath Grimm, which is the elephant-like type. I love the idea that they're intelligent, biding their time, and they're really strong as well.
