Tried to find a decent English patch for Thracia 776... can't find one. why must you ask further? i'm possibly the only thracia 776 fan here. it being my favortie FE game and all. that being said, there is a 99% patch thay you may or may not like, everything to story and item discription works but there is a gltich to the menu that may be an issue for you but the creator never updated it. serenesforest.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=6 its what i always used and really the only thing anyone will ever use since more does not exist. if you also feel like having it prepatched i should be able to send you my rom and if you want I can also send you my .sav of my best run in thracia, if interested. Eliwood, you wound me! Seriously though, we were just talking about an FE4/FE5 remake the other day XD I want it... so much. As long as they don't shove the waifu/dating sim crap into it. As far as I know, there are only decent English patches to Thracia 776. None spectacular, but they're serviceable. |

But you probably did. and bout the patch yeah but the one I provided is the most recent one, everyone else just quit on it so the menus are derpy. funny tho how fe4's & fe6's patch is 100% workable with no bugs or menu issues. its like they avoided fe5 >.> |

And about the patch, yeah, but the one I provided is the most recent one, everyone else just quit on it so the menus are derpy. Funny though how FE4's & FE6's patch is 100% workable with no bugs or menu issues. Its like they avoided fe5 >.> Nah, I never finished. The translation really turned me off, and there were certain mechanics I just couldn't fully understand. Also, FE5 has a steep difficulty curve IMO. Steeper than Fates Hard mode (Conquest, obviously. Birthright is laughable). I think I got to the chapter with the statues in the middle of the map and I just kinda got sidetracked by other games/hacks. It was in the time period that I broke my laptop, meaning a void of no Fire Emblem roms. Don't you talk about FE6 like that! No matter what people say, I will defend FE6 to my grave! XD It is weird how people translated FE4 before FE5, though... I guess Thracia 776 is a cult classic. |

The support conversations between the Nohrian and Hoshidan characters in Revelations are incredibly entertaining. Keaton and Kaeden, for example, have this fun dynamic when they're together that I really enjoy.
On a side note, bringing Odin, Laslow and/or Selena into the Awakening Xenologue allows for some fun interactions as well.

She recruits 6 guys to Marth's cause. Fucking ruthless. Case in point, after she recruits Lorenz, her father's friend. Lorenz: “Prince Marth? I am General Lorenz of Grust. I have decided to join you, in the interest of my fellow Grustians.” Marth: “I am honored, General. Thank you. Caeda tells me you and her father were close.” Lorenz: “Yes. How the princess has grown, though! Sharp as a tack, that one. Such a change from when she was- Now what am I saying? Caeda has always been clever. Even as a wee girl she knew how to wrap her elders about her little finger.” Marth: “You knew Caeda when she was little?” Lorenz: “Oh, yes. The mischief she got into! Well, those are stories for another day. First, we’ve a battle to finish!” Marth: “So we do, sir!” It's why she's my favourite female main character in the series even though she's not a lord. She unafraid to use her feminine charms to her advantage and the game never portrays her as a bad character for doing so. |
