Are people already hacking the games? I'm seeing castles with units possessing skills they shouldn't be able to have...

dunno why that wind level is in my favorites probably because its long and lets the music sink in, cause I like that song. Really now...? It's really pissing me off. Probably because some of my units can't take the pressure, but still... what kind of level design is that? It's like the stupid vase/pot level. Regardless of whether the chapter was made challenging, it doesn't make much sense. Then again, neither does "Let's solve everything using our dragon veins! Durrh!" Also, side note: Anyone that thinks about using Arthur, don't. Oh my lord is he terrible. I classed him up to Hero because he was falling behind and inaccurate as shiz, and he gets doubled by every mofo for miles... his stats are lower than Laslow (meaning prob lower than Selena's, too at that level). And his personality isn't anything special either... nor is his offspring. Why can't IS give the player an actually good ground axe user? Vaike was crap, and now comes Arthur... Bad speed, ABYSMAL luck, bad resistance and below average str for his class. His HP isn't even impressive compared to pretty much all old-school axe users. His solid def and skill doesn't really do much for him if he can't hit most enemies and he dies to pretty much anything. Just... disappointment. Stats: Lvl 24 (lvl 4 hero) HP: 40 Str: 23 Mag: 0 Skill: 26 Spd: 15 (WTF) Lck: 4 Def: 21 Res: 8
Past fire emblems always had maps where the maps is the enemy, so TBH I do not see where the anger is from, every game had one if I am not mistaken. to the oldest to the newest in one way. and yeah arthur is pure filth. but couldn't really tell you that cause I did not even give him a chance. lol.

Some examples? cause TBH the fact you can buy skills makes it so you can make the all in 1 unit by just visiting some people. (this is coming from japanese servers) It ca get out of hand if you have allot of money to spend on skills *picks favorite unit* you may think its cheating said unti but looking at nohr's limited options of good units on lunatic its your saving grace.

Well I was under the impression that it was impossible to get Aptitude on any first generation characters besides Mozu, but I just saw someone's MU that had it. Are you saying that's possible?

Not anger, more of irritation... but my real problem with the level is how little the map design makes sense to the world around it. Though Fire Emblem is slowly bearing off the path of logic anyway, so... eh. I feel it is more in the way the map was handled more than anything. For the Wind Tribe Chapter, if the units got pushed slightly on each turn (each end phase) it might be more fair, while also still being challenging. Maybe also prevent flying units from moving off the ground. Make a hazard to where units could fall off the ledges if not careful. I don't know, but when your units can be sent halfway across the map by a gust of wind, while the enemy units don't move at all, it kinda sucks! (Unless you use dragon veins, but they're spread out). Ooh... this next chapter seems fun... *Sarcasm levels rising*

Any thoughts on the Map Pack DLC bundle? Some of the future maps look interesting, and it will be cheaper to buy the bundle than all of the individual maps, but I tend to be stingy regarding DLC...

Most of it is pretty much the same from Awakening, which is aimed towards less skilled players by giving them extra exp bonuses, promotion items, legendary weapons, and of course fanservice for your waifus/husbandos. There are like 2 maps that are story related? XD So I don't know.

Those are the main two that caught my interest, although I wouldn't mind looking into a few of the others (Sans the fanservice ones...) It looks like there are a few nice DLC classes bundled in as well.

All right, I admit it. I judged 'Lost in thoughts all alone' too harshly. Looking at the lyrics more carefully, I've come to appreciate it a lot more. Spoilers for Revelation: If any of you have spoiled themselves and know what Revelation is all about, then the fourth verse of the song is quite nice.
Even though the song is sung by Azura, it's written from the perspective of Anankos, the main villain. Verses 2 to 4 are prophecies about each path, starting with Hoshido, then Nohr and finally Valla. Particularly interesting is the final one.
"Sing with me a song of silence and blood. The rain falls, but can't wash away the mud. Within my ancient heart dwells, madness and pride. Can no one hear my cry?"
That's some good shit, yo. I still hate how the main notes of the song work their way into every single track from what I can tell. I'm a firm believer of 'less is more' and toning down the repetition of the song would have been better.

You hear the same tempo/beat in pretty much every battle/map song, it gets old really fast. It's like being trapped in an elevator for 8 hours with the same track on loop... you're going to go insane XD I would have loved to see some old-school music return (which they do somewhat, just in rare instances), but hey... I guess they were focusing too heavily on making good waifu mechanics.

Sometimes I really wish there was an 'undo' button. Tried to rescue a unit to get it out of the line of fire, but instead I healed them... *sigh* RIP that unit.

So... I learned something interesting about Kaze. Somewhat spoilery... Get him to A support early on in Birthright, and a special scene will happen. I strongly suggest doing so.

And you'd better do it anyway just in case. Because if you don't before a certain chapter he gets killed off. Even in Casual.

In other news, I make bad decisions when playing this game.
Because the way I set up the children makes incest inevitable.
