half of the people you get are bad, only 1(maybe 2) jagens are good, so with my narrow selection of units eevryone gets ripped like they went to the gym. O and i know it sounds boring and stupid but dance girl, get a chapter where is kill boss to win, and just dance spam to get her to high level, she will not get enough xp any other way, its what i did, cause she will be force bring on some chapters That might explain some things... Currently using Corrin, Silas, Odin, Niles, Beruka, Kaze, Laslow (trying to, anyway...), Peri (so good...), Elise, Arthur, Felicia, Effie. Azura is my sideline unit. Perhaps I'm getting steamrolled because I'm trying to use too many units too early? I just didn't know who was good or bad, so I was testing the waters while also trying to finish the game XD. So far the only units I've benched are Nyx (she so dead) and Selena (Serena, HOW are you so bad!?) At chapter 13, most of my units are between lvl 12-15. There are already pre-promotes... Yeah, I've already sorta babied her, but I will make sure to force-feed her exp on this next chapter lol. . COrrin is decent, silas is too, but in my game he fell off and got benched and replaced by her daughter for reasons, lol never used kaze because farmer girl pretty much made a better ninja than he did, that being said he is pretty decent but suffers from good growth rates, so if early on RNG does not like him his promotion won't be as strong. Niles is alright daughter can be better if mom is decent with skills that are being passed. Tried to use beruka, it kinda worked still found her underwhelming tho, but she made it trough most of it promotion and all. forgot about laslow but i remember finding him hard to fit in a team. Peri, all of my yes. paired her with corrin's nohr brother allot for some reason, dual paladin squad. if by arthur you mean captain america man, no, he just seems like a basic axe fighter, but thats because I don't like most axe fighter, most of them have the IQ of their axe. And felicia is ok, but you later get the male version, and if the male butler is better get her replace, if not stay, in my first run she got replaced cause she had bad stats, second run she had more luck and stayed. and the ones you benched so far deserve to be there. And if you ever want to buff someone cause you like them as character or you wanan buff youself or someone else you like, don't forget you can fight others, and if you beat them chose the same character your opponent had that you want to buff and buy 1 of their skills. or atleast japanese version could do that. that is how my farmer girl has ''meteor sword''(''Astra'' for modern people) and silence, and my avatar as renewal and some other good skills that would not be possible with my standard route of his side promotions.

I'll go cry myself to sleep now ... I actually like Elise... XD Her personality is meh, but her stats... she is like Clarine from FE6, she is my healing/dodging goddess, except now she can support with everyone :D She will be EVERYONE'S onii-chan!

Accurate portrayal of Conquest in any difficulty above Normal: Currently on... what chapter is it, 18? Something like that... Anyway, it's actually slowly becoming easier as the game goes on (RNG can only screw you so much!), at least for me.

Even mine wasn't THAT good XD Her magic, res, speed and luck stats are really high tho. Which makes her BETTER than Clarine. Godly. Status for chapter 19(?): Getting owned by kitsune... they wouldn't be so bad if they didn't have pass ability (why does it get me so easily...?), the beastslayer ability (anyone on horses are screwed, which is half my team), and their unique illusion skill... They sneak too close, then they pounce on my weaker units and I'm just dead lol. Or they manage to wipe out a stronger unit by swiping at them relentlessly (they swarm in decent packs).

She is one of the mvp's for chapters like this. key is to use use ur marker to mark everyone with the skill to kill horses and such dark red and keep the full lightred enemy display on to see where the leftover ones that can go trough people can attack. camp as close together as possible, with the units that can live on the edges of this roman turtle possition and the ones with range that would otherwise die in the inside, preferibly a square formation. then after turtling around for the early arts go to the bridge and bottle neck everyone there with ur most strong units again, healer in the back and everyone else balls close together to avoid other fox to go trough. HOLES WILL KILL YOU. Like break up once, and they get in and: if I remember the game taunts you letting the boss move to fuck shit up if you go up all the way once you pass the bride but can't really say where without a full picture of the map. Most of my squads had horses so it was kinda funny having all that man power behind the ones that were not units on animals. all you need is speed and ok-ish defenses for the ones on the edges. since the foxes don't hit hard, and some beast killer weapons to make the killing faster if its needed. that weird kunai works wonders since its a beast slayer, don't know the english name of course the one with the horse next to it. anyway its a camp stage TBH, let them come to you and take them on easily, may take some tries to remember what tiles triggers all of them to come down. and some units can both go everywhere and do high damage to cavalry but the oens that have both traits are not as plenty as the ones with just one of those skills. except if its lunatic, if its lunatic re-class everyone XD. In the end, its pretty easy once you get it down tho.

Did pretty much what you said, except instead I held off the bridge with a few tanks and kept the others at a fair distance. I have a few units that have absolute INSANE defense XD My wyvern, knight, lord and one of my heroes can take some beatings. Also, for the boss, I had him lured away from the real threats (realized he could move before getting in range, so it saved my arse), and killed him separate from his goonies. ... Now to take on this BS wind level...

Now to take on this BS wind level... dunno why that wind level is in my favorites probably because its long and lets the music sink in, cause I like that song. Really now...? It's really pissing me off. Probably because some of my units can't take the pressure, but still... what kind of level design is that? It's like the stupid vase/pot level. Regardless of whether the chapter was made challenging, it doesn't make much sense. Then again, neither does "Let's solve everything using our dragon veins! Durrh!" Also, side note: Anyone that thinks about using Arthur, don't. Oh my lord is he terrible. I classed him up to Hero because he was falling behind and inaccurate as shiz, and he gets doubled by every mofo for miles... his stats are lower than Laslow (meaning prob lower than Selena's, too at that level). And his personality isn't anything special either... nor is his offspring. Why can't IS give the player an actually good ground axe user? Vaike was crap, and now comes Arthur... Bad speed, ABYSMAL luck, bad resistance and below average str for his class. His HP isn't even impressive compared to pretty much all old-school axe users. His solid def and skill doesn't really do much for him if he can't hit most enemies and he dies to pretty much anything. Just... disappointment. Stats: Lvl 24 (lvl 4 hero) HP: 40 Str: 23 Mag: 0 Skill: 26 Spd: 15 (WTF) Lck: 4 Def: 21 Res: 8

The +1 stat gains are really hurting my being... Felicia has very quickly gone from being one of my best units (somehow) to one of my worst. She's going from being one of my appreciated healers/supports to hiding in the corner, taking care of the cuts and bruises only.
