Remember that last year "snippet" of Blaziken and Lucario in HD? Well, Pokemon announced Pokken Tournament for the arcades (in Japan only most likely). It's being made by Nintendo, Game Freak, and Bando Namcai as well (again?). The release date will be in 2015. It was confirmed today on a NicoNico stream, but you'll need an account there to watch. As I post this the stream is still on-going. They're just interviewing the developers though.

So the game might get ported to Wii U in the future. Apparently somebody in the comments asked about it and one of the developers started to talk about it before quickly shutting up.

Edit: Hmmm... I'm not sure these new folks who joined (who are apparently voice actors) are bringing any game related news with them.

yea the game seems to be an arcade game first then transferred over onto a system like the wii u or the 3ds. once it is transferred onto a console it should come over

They're showing off some figurines. It hasn't even been a whole hour and they're already showing off what merchandise is coming out because of the game.
I know that Pokemon is cash cow franchise but wow. Just wow.
