I feel like I'm reliving last year on this thread lmao the fandom is so fucking annoying now though Why? ;o Because they just are. The shippers are so rude, the jokes are overused, and they get offended if you say the slightest thing about the show. Like Marco for example. He's a completely overrated character but you will be gunned down if you say something like that to the fanbase. |

So, I just found out that the fandom calls Marco "Freckled Jesus." What's up with that? Because everyone wants him to come back for some godforsaken reason and the fandom treasures him like he's some sort of God, meanwhile he was just a small side character that only provided character development to Jean. It's because they fuckin glorified his death in the anime. The Freckled Jesus thing started in one of the episodes where Jean decided to go into the Scouting Legion and he was kinda turmoiled over the thing and all of a sudden he looks up and sees like a mirage of Marco glowing and shit and Marco's like "You can do it Jean!!!!!" Meanwhile, that never happened in the manga. In the manga, Marco died, they mourned over him for a page or two, and he was never mentioned again. But the anime kept bringing him up in relation to Jean up to the last episode, so if you try to point out that Marco's overrated in the fandom, you'll get shot to death. |

He sounds so much weirder in AOT. I've actually seen Blue Exorcist too and wow... they sound so much different. Or is that just me? Or it might be because I watch AOT in Japanese with sub titles and now hearing eren speak English sounds... it's weird.... |
