Judging by the pace of SAO II right now, I think we will get the Phantom Bullet arc concluded at around episode 15, then a few episodes at best will be covered by Mother's Rosario, and then the remainder will be covered by the beginning portion of the Alicization Arc before ending in a cliffhanger. I'm pretty sure right now.

GGO will probably last until ep 15, like you said... but the rest could easily be filled by Mother's Rosario, if they expanded on it(which would seem easy to do). There's also an ALO raid(I forget when it happens), but that could take up a few episodes too. I think that the show should end without bringing a part of Alicization Arc into it. Because if they left it off at that cliffhanger, I think a lot of people would be pissed xD But not only that; The Alicization Arc is my favorite of the series, so I hope they keep the arc together into one season (It is also the longest of the arcs, heheh).

I believe the raid was part of an arc (not an actual arc, but I don't have a better word) called "Caliber". That arc introduces Sinon's ALO avatar. I forgot about "Caliber"; I guess that can be covered too. However, I do feel it'll make sense if they end SAO II with a cliffhanger, and I don't know why. Just my instinct.

Err... it wouldn't make sense if they made the cliffhanger out of Alicization's beginning. I was pissed when I read it, and was able to read through 3 volumes. So imagine having to wait a year or more after that. Although... if they went further, and cut it off 'at a certain point', that could work. Maybe.

Well, if they ended it with Kazuto being trapped in the Underworld (I believe that's what the name was) by Johnny Black, it'd be good for the ratings for a potential SAO III. That's what I was thinking. Gotta think like a business, man...

The end of the last episode won't help much to the hype.
