It was a bit boring XD I'm guessing it was filler The only parts i did like was Kirito talking with Asuna, that little bit in ALO, Kirito with the nurse, that one moment of his nightmare i think and Sinon with her friend at the park XD

I had the same feelin', man. Trust the gut. Also, it wasn't filler. That's straight out of the LN. Remember that Kazuto(Kirito) isn't trapped in a game anymore.

Same with Sinon/Shino. Their counterparts are their avatars, as in the same person but a different body. The name of the episode with Red-Eyed XaXa was about how apparently the dead are seeking revenge(and one of the victims are actually seen. Whether it was a vision or not is unknown). Unrelated. As for Spiegel, I already know how the show will play out, so... But yeah, I think it is normal to be put off by Shino's friend.

This is what I thought you were going for, Sophie, as for the first picture. Don't click if you aren't sure who Death Gun is. Red Eyed XaXa: Death Gun:

It was a bit boring. Still, I have a bad feeling about that guy that is always with Sinon. It ain't filler. It's actually taken from the LN, some of it at least. We learn that Kazuto is still haunted by the three murders (for a lack of a better word) he committed, something that wasn't fully addressed in Season 1 (where we ACTUALLY saw him kill one of the three victims). And it's obvious from Shino's attitude towards Kirito that a big confrontation between the two of them is about to happen. I wouldn't necessarily call all of THAT filler.

Character development is essential in the story too, and I love seeing the episode being dedicated to that.
