Marksman - Well that was when you didn't really have many choices left and you were out of faries and steel so no matter what you put out it would have been one-shot or severely injured. I was worried more about what the dang thing had, lol. That Pokemon can be almost anything you want it to be when it comes to offense. Yeah had fun with him in the game so I built up one for battles. Didn't expect you to keep the Ferrethorn in though, I thought it was going to be swapped out instantly and I'd just get a bit of health off someone else. I have a shiny Noibat too that I got while breeding my own, just kinda sitting in the box atm though. Quick question, and you can answer in PM if you don't want the others to know, what moves does your Aggron have? Cause I was kinda surprise you only really used Heavy Slam.

linkIt's pathetic how easily I got beat... After Ferrethorn went down, I knew it was over lol. Never expected a flamethrower attack on that, LuciferIX. Noivern is one fearsome opponent  I would suggest next time to use /calc in chat got on the calculator and type in the name of the pokemon, you would see what's the most used sets, handy or players like you who don't spend enough time in the meta to know what most pokemon run. Or here and search in the search bar thingy. |

Dude, looking back on that battle I was so unlucky, and made dumb mistakes. Your style seriously threw me off, and I got confused by that substitute(It wouldn't frickin' go away!) I was prepared to take a heavy hit on Ferrothorn, but not a flamethrower. Not that he had any offensive move to beat Noivern, he was meant to stealth rock and toxic before getting taken down. I also kept preparing up for when you switched Pokemon, but I kept reading wrong as to which Pokemon you'd switch to, and have to switch out myself. And what I switched to would get hit by a super effective more (Dragonite). When I switched out from Drago to Aggron, I hit straight into your's. I have no clue as to why you switched out when Sylveon was a fairy type, but it ended up getting Aggron taken down. And then using a hurricane attack on Togekiss managed to confuse it, which was a double luck-based attack -_- And you switched for some reason instead of just ending it. You did the same with gyarados, when you could have taken Aggron down easily. I feel like you made mistakes, but I was dumb and allowed them. When I'd prepare to counter, you'd switch. When I attacked, you countered. I just couldn't get a foot-hold at all in that battle :/ and you cleaned my clock xD The turning-point of the battle was against our Aggrons. Once he got paralyzed, and I couldn't get rid of the substitute, I was done. I was worried about my Pokemon getting one-shot by Earthquake. Which basically happened to Greninja. |

I put that moveset and spread together myself back when there wasn't much out for Gen VI competitive play. |

Marksman - I swapped out Sylveon because of your Dragonite having Iron Head. I wasn't sure if Sylveon would survive long enough to kill but also wasn't sure if you'd swap or not, so I went the safe route. I didn't trust Hurricane's 70% hit chance, and I always get the short end of the stick when I confuse someone, so it wasn't worth keeping him in. Just easier to swap out. Gyarados not killing Aggron right off the bat was to make sure you didn't do anything that could put me back. I was more than confident he could finish you off, I just needed to make sure he lived to do it. Yeah with three possible megas I had a hard time figuring out which to put the stone on. Even without our battle I'm glad I chose him, like the moveset too. An adaptation of an old Gen III Aggron set. You still had me worried from a few of then as to the best way to deal with some of them, but I think it was your swapping into some of my attacks that gave me just enough of an edge to pull out. Kinda wish Scizor got a little more action though...

As for Dragonite having Iron Head, that was my clever little attack set up haha. Still, it would take three hits to take down Sylveon, as you saw. Which meant you were safe to take him down. And that was why I switched to Aggron. But... you switched to your's xD Eh, Aggron was paralyzed and at 1% health. What was he going to do? xD Aggron, to me, is the best Mega for sure I love his movesets and also his filter ability. He is a tank! I just wish he had a move to heal. Might make him OP though... You wish Scizor got more action? What about Ferrothorn? One hit, out and done xD I swapped because it was a losing battle to fight against. But then you'd switch to another when I did, so it made me doing it pointless lol. |
