Oh fuck me. After putting Rayquaza into my team I sent back my Klefki which was my status inducer. Well, I guessed one battle afterwards, in which a lvl 35 Klefki was effectively worthless, but didn't expect the second one to be immediately after... And I was so happy catching Rayquaza with my first Ultra Ball too. Well, back to the old save point. Yeah, just be careful when taking on Deoxys. That thing is level 80, but Rayquaza, who is already Mega-evolved at the start of the battle, can usually take it out in one hit. Luckily, you can go back to Sky Pillar later to try and catch Deoxys though... Eh, he was easy enough to get. That Overheat-esque attack of his dropped his SpAtk to the point where any of my Pokemon could take at least two of them. At that point it was just the usual chuck ultra balls until he's caught. Though I always hate trying to catch a legend with Recover... Though now I do remember I have like 4 Deoxys now so he wasn't all that essential to get, lol. Old trainer in me always wanting every legend I guess. |

Although now thinking on that comment, they probably increased the catch rate, so the one ball thing isn't really all that much of something to worry about. Rayquazza was bumped up to a must catch just like Reshrim/Zekrom and Xerneas/Yvetal so it's capture rate was changed to match those legendaries. |

Yeah after knowing the story after it along with catching it again with one ball it pretty much confirmed it.
As for the Heal Block, not a bad idea. Can't remember the moves my catching Smeargle has though. Unrelated, but I personally love the move Soak to help catch them, obviously best with Pokemon who resist False Swipe but it's nice to have access to a Net Balls as well.

What does it mean when the IV guy first explained how amy Magikarp's stats were good, then went on to declare that each one was terrible? Looked this up and apparently it means my Magikarp has zero IVs in...everything. Welp, clearly I have a lot of breeding knowledge yet to learn before I get my perfect IV Gyarados. |
