An interesting premise nonetheless. Takumi Shu is once again in charge of this title, so this will be something good. Unsurprisingly, it is 3DS Exclusive.
The new protagonist:
Since this takes place before the current timeline of Ace Attorney, this protagonist would probably be Phoenix Wright's ancestor.
That being said, let's hope the game actually gets localized as well when it is finished.

The new game will be titled Dai Gyakuten Saiban (Big Turnabout Trial) and will be set in the Meiji era, right in the middle of the power struggle in Japan between the Shogunate and the forces loyal to the Emperor seeking to bring innovation and change in the country.
