NEW QUESTION!  What moments made you cry/sad the most in Clannad and After Story?
Clannad: It was when Kotomi got back her parent's briefcase... the one with the teddy bear inside. I just couldn't take the feels. She thought they were too busy for her but they weren't... until their last breaths. *sniffs*
After Story: Definitely when Nagisa died... oh my lord. The flashbacks he had with her, and then Tomoya talking to her and begging her to hold on... GAHHHHH ;____; And when Ushio died too... I was sad and mad. LIKE NO! NOT AGAIN! TOMOYA WILL KILL HIMSELF D:

Apparently my collection of Clannad pics is smaller than I thought, though at first it was even smaller until I realized most were wallpaper quality pics and thus in my wallpaper folder. Don't have many though that will bring out many feelings considering a lot are the characters posing with the same artwork as the series so here's a couple. Though the questions I'll have to think about and come back to. Adminly duties and all that crap to do. |

Clannad:
I kind of teared up when Fuko accomplished her goal to invite people to her sisters wedding (like on the actual day), when her sister didn't see Fuko in the wedding or anywhere at all, when Tomoya and Nagisa forgot about her too. When Kotomi got the teddy bear in the briefcase, and the part where Akio runs into Nagisa's play and tells her to achieve her goal and that his and her mom's dream was her. I didn't really break out cried, i just teared up and somewhat cried.
After Story:
Oh fuck..this anime just wrecked me ;__; i cried soooo much! I cried when Nagisa got sick, Tomoya wanted to stay with Nagisa in school since she was repeating, Nagisa graduated, when Tomoya is out in the streets running away and Nagisa chases him and then he proposes, when he told Akio he wanted to marry Nagisa, when he beat Akio in baseball and got permission to marry Nagisa, I think I cried or teared up when they got married, when she died ;___; </3, after she died omfg i can never hold in my tears at the opening credits since it FREAKING REMINDS YOU THAT SHE'S GONE AND DEAD (especially if you read the english translation of the song), when freaking Tomoya says that freaking 5 years had passed and he's now a bum, the fact he regrets having Ushio and Nagisa in his life, the fact that Ushio has been living with her grandparents every since she was born, when Tomoya didnt celebrate her special 3, 5, and 7 birthdays, the fact that he doesn't have a close relationship with her, that one scene when Akio told Sanae that she hasn't cried after Nagisa's death and then cried, when Ushio and Tomoya took that one trip to the sunflower fields and gave her the robot but she lost it, when Tomoya talked to his grandmother about his father and childhood, when Tomoya apologized to Ushio ;___;, Tomoya and Ushio father daughter moments, when Ushio asks about Nagisa and that one scene when she said that she only cries in bathrooms or in daddy's arms, whenever Tomoya has flashbacks of Nagisa or sees her picture, when Fuko, Tomoya and Ushio were playing cards and Tomoya was having a what if moment about Nagisa, when Ushio starts living with Tomoya, when Ushio starts getting sick, when Tomoya wants to give Ushio a gift but cant cause she wants to go to the sun flower patch, when Ushio starts getting more sick, when Tomoya starts taking her to the train and then she dies ;____; </3, that one scene where Tomoya choses whether or not to talk to Nagisa and was having doubts about "this would have never happen if i never meet her", when Nagisa thanks him and they return to Nagisa giving birth, that one last/final scene of the robot and girl in the mysterious world, when Nagisa is alive again and living life with Ushio and Tomoya. lol i basically cried in the whole thing XD i dunno if i named all the scenes i cried in xD

KatherineLuvsMJ GOD DAMMIT YOU JUST LITERALLY MADE ME GET TEARS THINKING OF ALL THOSE SCENES.... OH MY GOD >.< ;________________; I didn't actually shed tears even once.... but my eyes were watery in some scenes. XD

Okay with the thread I'm supposed to tear apart lost someplace I have a little bit of free time to finally post here.
Clannad - Going to be a little redundant with my answers probably but here it goes anyways. The first series was always more comedy for me so it was pretty much just Kotomi's side story.
~After Story~ - Well there were obviously a few more here. Ushio's death always gets me of course, but there are a few that will get me misty eyed. First two are generally mentioned with Nagisa's death and when Ushio and Tomoya are in the field and Ushio loses her toy while leading up to the conversation both there and on the train back. But another one was Misae's side arc. The ending of that can always get me a little.
And through both of them, while it wasn't a particularly sad moment, every scene from the other world always brought that idea of awe and a rather deep emotional feel to it. Especially as the series started to take the worst turn near the end.
